About the job

Delart is home to a team of world-class engineers and project leaders dedicated to developing the next generation of advanced networking technologies, consumer devices, and innovative technology solutions. Trusted by some of the world’s leading technology companies, we deliver highly scalable, mission-critical solutions that power both consumer and business applications globally. Since our founding in 2017, we have been at the forefront of designing cutting-edge networking, telecommunications, and consumer products, while driving end-to-end project execution and creating transformative technology applications.

Overview

Drive the automation and DevOps infrastructure underpinning a lab-based 4G/5G cellular network system by engineering scalable frameworks, robust APIs, and seamless hardware integration. This role is central to enabling advanced testing, monitoring, and hardware access for network R&D, delivering the tools and interfaces that allow teams to interact programmatically and efficiently with cellular infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Automate provisioning and management of radio access network (RAN) infrastructure in a research and development (R&D) lab setting.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Python-based APIs and services for cellular network access, including base station (eNodeB/gNodeB) interactions.
  • Integrate automation for hardware control and remote management of cellular network devices.
  • Monitor, collect, and make available network metrics, KPIs, and health monitoring data via programmable interfaces for consumption by other teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network interfaces, connectivity, and automated workflows.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions to streamline cellular testing and integration workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Deep proficiency in Python programming for API development and automation frameworks.
  • Experience automating hardware and networking workflows, particularly with RAN equipment and cellular protocol stacks.
  • Hands-on expertise developing and debugging RESTful APIs.
  • Practical experience with Bash/Shell scripting for operational automation.
  • Working knowledge of 4G/LTE and 5G NR cellular network architectures and protocols.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) in infrastructure-oriented environments.
  • Understanding of containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) for networking and automation use cases.
  • Proven ability to monitor and troubleshoot lab-based network systems and interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating with eNodeB and gNodeB base stations for RAN control or test automation.
  • Knowledge of cellular network KPIs, metrics extraction, and telemetry publishing best practices.
  • Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) concepts.
  • Prior work in an R&D environment developing tools for hardware-in-the-loop or network-in-the-loop testing.
