POSITION SUMMARY

Layered Extended Security Operations (LEXSO) is Constellis’ advanced multi-sensor integration platform, purpose-built to deliver real-time situational awareness and operational automation. By integrating leading-edge sensors, cloud-native infrastructure, and AI-driven analytics, LEXSO enables responses at the speed of sensing to protect critical infrastructure, bases of operations, and high-value assets worldwide. 

Constellis is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join a team focused towards strengthening our platform delivery and ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and scaling of LEXSO across government and commercial environments. In this role, you will have the ability to: 

  • Work at the intersection of security, AI, and mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Contribute to protecting US government and commercial assets with cutting-edge technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across staging, test, and production environments.
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for LEXSO’s real-time, sensor-driven workloads.
  • Containerize services using Docker (or Podman) and manage registries.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent) for repeatable, scalable deployments.
  • Maintain secure version control practices (Git, GitHub, GitLab, or equivalent).
  • Configure, maintain, and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, data scientists, and sensor integration teams to accelerate feature delivery and ensure resilience in operational deployments.
  • Support compliance with DoD cybersecurity and cloud security standards where applicable.
  • Work is typically based in a remote office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–5 years experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud engineering.
  • Scripting in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Kubernetes experience (explicit, production-level).
  • Containerization experience with Docker or Podman (explicit, production-level).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Experience using Git or equivalent version control systems.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident response workflows.
  • Strong collaboration skills with software developers.
  • Ability to attain a Secret Clearance
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Nvidia GPU toolkits, or broader DevOps toolchains
    • Monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk and/or CloudWatch
