We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to work on a pivotal Federal program that is making a positive impact on millions of Americans' daily lives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build, maintain, and document CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Provision and manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and Terraform
  • Manage and optimize AWS environments including ECS, S3, Lambda, and RDS
  • Support and maintain Docker containers and debug containerized workloads
  • Help define and build a modern data science and development environment using tools like SageMaker, DataZone, and Athena
  • Support Linux-based systems and contribute to DevOps best practices across the team

What you’ll bring:

  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline engineering
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools including CloudFormation and Terraform
  • Strong AWS experience across core services including ECS, S3, Lambda, and RDS
  • Experience with Docker and containerized environments
  • Familiarity with data science platforms such as SageMaker, DataZone, or Athena
  • Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with a cross-functional team
  • Communicates clearly and openly, whether documenting infrastructure decisions or collaborating with engineers
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.

Compensation:

At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $125,000 – $160,000
