Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and core developer platform. In this role, you will collaborate closely with full-stack and backend engineering teams to ensure high availability, scalability, security, and automated deployments across our environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision, manage, and scale multi-environment cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Build, optimize, and maintain automated continuous integration and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Docker and maintain orchestrated clusters using Kubernetes or ECS.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce cloud security best practices, IAM policy configurations, vulnerability scanning, and automated patch management (OWASP, SOC 2 compliance).
  • Reliability & Performance: Participate in incident response, perform root-cause analysis (RCA), and maintain high uptime and system resilience across all production platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
  • Cloud Architecture: Deep expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), including networking (VPCs, VPNs, DNS), security, and storage services.
  • Automation & Scripting: Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or Go for system automation and workflow tooling.
  • Containers: Production experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes cluster management.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Proven track record of managing production environments using Terraform or standard IaC frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Active AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer professional certification.
  • Experience managing PostgreSQL / MongoDB database clusters and caching layers (Redis).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and zero-downtime deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary).
