ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.

* Deploy product updates and fixes accurately, efficiently and securely.

* Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.

* Work with Software Engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.

* Automate and improve development and release processes. 

* Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.

* Investigate, identify and resolve technical issues.

* Plan out projects and be involved in project management decisions.

* Provide Level 2 technical support.

* Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.

* Perform root cause analysis for production issues.

* Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

* Strong analytical, coding, problem-solving, and debugging skills;

REQUIRED/DESIRED:

* Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar Software Engineering role.

* Proficient with git and git workflows

* Good knowledge of software development life cycle in an agile environment.

* Knowledge in UNIX/Linux environment and scripting languages.

* Proficiency and experience in Security is a huge plus!

* Knowledge of web-based and mobile application development.

* Working knowledge of databases and SQL

* Problem-solving attitude
