Position Summary:

Concentric Innovation is seeking a full-time Associate DevOps Engineer to support, scale, and modernize our core technology platforms. This role will work closely with investment, operations, and trading teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and motivated by building resilient infrastructure in a fast-paced financial technology environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, stabilize, and scale day-to-day system workflows across investment, operations, and trading platforms.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of production systems.
  • Lead and contribute to initiatives that modernize and scale Concentric Innovation’s technical environments and deployment processes.
  • Design and implement infrastructure and workflow solutions to support new investment strategies and product offerings.
  • Execute platform and data integrations to improve efficiency, automation, and accuracy across internal systems.
  • Participate in release engineering, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of DevOps practices.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps, release engineering, or development infrastructure role required.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL required; experience with SSRS is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working with APIs and system integrations; familiarity with Salesforce and SS&C APX is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Familiarity with investment strategies or the financial services industry is a plus.

 

Pay Transparency:

Concentric Innovation’s expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $130,000 - $150,000 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty, and training. The successful candidate(s) may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus award.
