Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with developers, team leads, and management to understand DevOps requirements and software issues, and developing and implementing solutions for them. 

  • On the SRE side, making active contributions to ensure uptime and reliability of applications and cloud infrastructure. Pro-active monitoring, resolving and tracking of SRE Issues.

  • Researching and conducting a POC on software solutions to optimize DevOps and product performance, improve stability, and resolve issues if any.

  • Be available 24x7 and/or comfortable with shift work supporting production SaaS solutions.

  • Documenting SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and solutions.

  • Conforming to best practices in network administration and cybersecurity.




Requirements

Key Skills:


  • Linux Server Administration

  • CI/CD Tools - Jenkins/Github Actions

  • Configuration Management Tool – Ansible 

  • Infrastructure As Code (IaC) Tool – Terraform 

  • Cloud Providers – AWS/Azure/GCP

  • Scripting - Bash/Python


Good to Have:


  • Good hands-on experience in Linux System Administration

  • Passionate about Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform preferred)

  • Proficiency in at least one of the following cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • Experience working on SQL DBs, eg: MySql, Postgres

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. 

  • Experience on Version Control system (Github preferred)

  • Experience with scripting using Python and Shell scripts

  • Monitoring tool experience like Splunk/ Prometheus/ Grafana

  • Experience with Centralized Log collection and analytics using Grafana/ELK

  • Experience provisioning, deploying, monitoring maintaining code of large hosted platforms in a microservice environment

  • Good to have below certifications: 

    • Cloud Providers: AWS/Azure/GCP 

    • IaC: Terraform

    • Kubernetes:  CKAD/CKA

    • Linux: RHCE/RHCSA

  • Good to have knowledge and experience with Helm/Kustomize.
