DFIR Alliances Director

7AI is seeking a world-class, growth-obsessed Director, DFIR Alliances to architect, operationalize, and scale our ecosystem-led go-to-market strategy with digital forensics and incident response partners. This is a high-impact, executive-level role designed for someone who views DFIR firms not as standard resellers, but as a critical lever for market penetration, trusted-advisor credibility, and hyper-scale ARR growth.

As the leader of the DFIR partner ecosystem, you will design the blueprint for how 7AI wins with incident response firms, cyber insurers, and the legal and advisory networks around them. You will own the DFIR alliance strategy from end to end—identifying high-yield partnerships, orchestrating co-sell engines, and maximizing the revenue multiplier effect of the moment when customers are most ready to modernize their security operations. If you have a proven track record of scaling B2B SaaS or AI security platforms through a high-velocity services and partner ecosystem, we want you on our leadership team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the DFIR Ecosystem Number: Take full accountability for driving, forecasting, and exceeding DFIR partner-sourced and partner-influenced ARR targets, including retainer-to-subscription conversions and post-incident expansions.

  • Architect the Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive DFIR alliance blueprint covering incident response retainer firms, boutique and Big Four IR practices, MDR providers with IR arms, cyber insurance carriers and panel networks, and breach counsel.

  • Orchestrate Elite Alliances: Build and deepen executive-level relationships with leading DFIR firms and insurers, positioning 7AI as the agentic SOC platform that accelerates investigations during an engagement and keeps customers protected after it ends.

  • Drive Institutionalized Co-Selling: Establish a repeatable engine between 7AI enterprise sales and DFIR partner field teams, including referral and warm-handoff motions that convert active incidents, retainers, and post-breach remediation into 7AI opportunities.

  • Build the IR-to-SOC Playbook: Define joint solutions and delivery models in which DFIR partners use 7AI to speed triage, scoping, and evidence analysis, and transition customers from incident response into a continuously monitored, AI-driven SOC.

  • Expand Through Insurance and Legal Channels: Develop relationships with cyber insurers, brokers, and breach counsel to secure panel and preferred-vendor status and to drive risk-based adoption of 7AI.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Align closely with the VP of Sales, Marketing, Product, and Global Alliances teams to ensure the DFIR strategy feeds enterprise pipeline and informs product roadmap and integrations.

  • Cultivate Partner Self-Sufficiency: Implement scalable enablement, certification, and partner program frameworks that transform DFIR partners into independent, revenue-generating extensions of the 7AI sales force.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Enterprise Leadership Track Record: 8–12+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity alliances, channel leadership, or business development, with a history of scaling early-to-mid stage security software or AI companies.

  • DFIR Domain Expertise: Deep working knowledge of the incident response lifecycle, retainer economics, forensics tooling, and how DFIR firms, MDR providers, and insurers make money and select technology partners.

  • Documented Quota Mastery: A proven track record of consistently exceeding multi-million dollar partner-driven revenue targets.

  • Deep Executive Network: An existing, active network of C-suite and VP-level relationships across leading DFIR firms, MDR providers, cyber insurers, and breach counsel that can be activated immediately.

  • Negotiation and Partnership Acumen: Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, including structuring referral, resale, and technology partnership agreements with services-led organizations.

  • Ecosystem Visionary: Demonstrated ability to transition traditional, transactional channel models into sophisticated, highly scalable, ecosystem-led growth engines.

  • High-Growth Adaptability: A strategic thinker with an execution-first mindset who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving startup environments.

  • Education & Values: Uncompromising integrity, stellar business judgment, and a BA/BS degree (MBA preferred).
