This is a remote position.

At Nomad Internet, we believe access to the internet is a human right and that rural communities should have access to the same high-speed internet available in urban areas.

We launched in 2017 with the mission to serve the underserved, bringing people in rural communities and RV parks reliable access to the Internet. These communities, particularly those in rural areas, have historically lacked access to basic utilities, both public and private, and we made it our goal to change that. When demand exploded during the COVID-19 pandemic, we quickly expanded, bringing our high-speed internet coverage to customers across all 50 states.

As part of that vision, we’re looking for a creative and data-driven marketer to help us scale our growth on digital marketing channels for Nomad Internet! This individual will be tasked with supporting performance for some of our key service lines such as residential, business, and affiliates, and will optimize our performance on our core channels, such as Facebook, Newsletters, Google, and Tiktok.

You should be comfortable with optimizing budgets across multiple channels and delivering clear CAC and ROAS targets. You will succeed if you are skilled at evaluating signals from multiple platforms and be able to identify trends by looking at attribution and site analytics tools to understand the underlying marketing drivers of business performance. In addition, curiosity, an analytical mentality, and a can-do attitude will also be key to success in this role! Above all, you embody the Nomad Internet mission of providing access to the internet for rural communities.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO EVERY DAY
  • Build, upload, and launch new campaigns/ads for paid search, YouTube, and display across multiple ad platforms. Ensure everything is aligned with quality assurance guidelines.
  • Optimize media campaigns on core channels such as Google Ads, Facebook, and TikTok against CAC and patient volume targets
  • Leading the day-to-day management and optimization of Nomad Affiliate accounts across the country.
  • Own the roadmap for newsletter and subscription services.
  • Establish and execute a go-to-market plan to grow their existing offering of newsletter products and oversee the rollout of new product lines in subscription services.
  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for our internet service, including identifying target customers, creating inbound marketing campaigns, outbound campaigns on social media and email, and managing and optimizing the entire sales pipeline
  • Work with creative and design partners to hypothesize creative tests, produce creative briefs, and generate top-performing ad ideas
  • Identify creative, media, and landing page tests that unlock conversion and better economics for our internet plans
  • Analyze fluctuations in performance and cross-channel data to identify factors driving impact to channels and the business in order to take performance to the next level
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
  • 1-2+ years of high-performance experience working on creative marketing teams and growth initiatives, ideally in DTC/e-Commerce
  • Experience in some combination of paid social and paid search (Plus: influencers, affiliates, SEO, or display)
  • Analytical mentality and hands-on experience with Google Sheets and Looker or any other data tool to produce reports. Experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and the desire to bring structure to undefined procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passion for the Nomad Internet brand and the mission of expanding access to rural internet access.
  • Eagerness to join a fast-growing startup
