The Digital Business Development & Strategy Manager is part of Pizza Hut’s Global Digital & Technology organization and plays a critical role in driving global digital market expansion and digital product growth. This role leads business development planning, new market discovery, and business performance across international markets, ensuring digital innovation initiatives align with global commercial priorities and deliver measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategic Alignment

  • Manage and evolve the digital product and market expansion pipeline
  • Lead business development planning sessions and goal tracking
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing digital products into new markets
  • Evaluate and prioritize new market entry opportunities
  • Prepare and lead market alignment activities 
  • Partner with Finance to develop commercial proposals and financial models
  • Track business development initiatives throughout the full sales cycle 

New Product & Market Discovery

  • Identify unmet digital product needs and build compelling business cases
  • Lead structured market discovery efforts for net-new products and expansion markets
  • Align cross-functional partners (Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Operations) during discovery and validation
  • Translate discovery insights into actionable delivery plans

Market & Business Performance

  • Analyze digital business performance and develop executive-ready insights
  • Support content and reporting for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Conduct quarterly market leadership meetings and prepare agenda, content and speakers
  • Identify performance trends and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide regular updates to Leadership and Finance on business health and growth trajectory
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Communications or a related field 

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, strategy, digital product, consulting, or a related role

  • Proven experience evaluating complex decisions, developing business cases, and supporting go-to-market decisions

  • Strong analytical skills with experience translating complex inputs into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations

  • Experience building financial models, commercial proposals, or investment cases in partnership with Finance or business leaders

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Finance

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations and supporting international market expansion initiatives

  • Background in digital, e-commerce, restaurant, retail, franchise, or consumer technology environments

  • Experience facilitating executive leadership meetings, or other senior stakeholder forums

  • Familiarity with product discovery, market validation, and commercialization processes for digital products

Salary Range: 125,200 - 145,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
