This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role. - Set the vision and standards for how customers experience Woodland Gourmet online, delivering a seamless, cohesive journey from first discovery through purchase and beyond
- Optimize the website and customer portal for self-service, engagement, and conversion
- Partner closely with marketing, IT, and customer service to keep every touchpoint aligned and cohesive
- Lead end-to-end RFP process for selecting a B2B/B2C eCommerce platform
- Define business requirements, use cases, and success criteria
- Evaluate leading platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce)
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align on technical and commercial needs
- Own platform selection recommendation and business case
- Lead implementation, onboarding, and go-live of selected platform
- Define roadmap for customer experience, self-service tools, pricing logic, and account management
- Drive adoption and continuous optimization post-launch
- Own full Amazon P&L including revenue, margin, and growth targets
- Lead listing optimization across titles, bullets, A+ content, and storefront
- Manage and scale Amazon advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP) with clear ROAS targets
- Oversee catalog strategy, assortment rationalization, and SKU performance
- Drive operational excellence across FBA/FBM, inventory planning, and compliance
- Troubleshoot backend issues (ASIN conflicts, suppressed listings, variation structures)
- Support implementation and management of PIM/DAM systems (experience with Canto strongly preferred)
- Establish scalable product data governance across Amazon, B2B/B2C platform, and distributor channels
- Build workflows for digital asset management, product enrichment, and content syndication
- Ensure a clean, consistent “single source of truth” for product data
- Develop dashboards and reporting across Amazon and B2B/B2C platform (traffic, conversion, CAC, LTV)
- Identify growth opportunities across assortment, pricing, promotions, SEO, and paid media
- Lead testing roadmap across content, UX, and digital merchandising
- Drive continuous improvement across all digital channels
- Use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate listing content, A+ content, product copy, and marketing collateral across Amazon and B2B/B2C channels
- Apply AI-assisted research and analysis to speed up competitive intelligence, keyword/SEO discovery, and reporting
- Identify and implement AI-driven workflows to streamline content production, testing, and campaign execution
- Champion responsible, effective AI adoption across the marketing and digital commerce team
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and scaling Amazon businesses
- Proven expertise in Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Brands, DSP) with measurable performance outcomes
- Experience leading or heavily contributing to eCommerce platform selection (RFP) and implementation
- Strong understanding of B2B/B2C eCommerce requirements (pricing, customer segmentation, workflows)
- Experience working with PIM/DAM systems (Canto strongly preferred)
- Data-driven mindset with ability to translate analytics into action
- Practical, hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to drive marketing and operational efficiency—content generation, research synthesis, workflow automation, and reporting
- Experience evaluating and/or implementing platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, or Salesforce Commerce
- Experience in food, CPG, or ingredient-based businesses
