Job Details:
The Specialist, Digital Media Display, is responsible for executing programmatic display and retargeting campaigns that drive performance for Mattress Firm. This role partners closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Media and agency teams to ensure campaigns are effectively planned, executed, and optimized across current platforms—DV360 and Criteo—and any future DSPs.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage Programmatic Campaigns End-to-End: Oversee programmatic display and retargeting campaigns across DV360 and Criteo, including ad trafficking, auditing, and reporting.
- Campaign Configuration & Optimization: Handle all aspects of campaign setup, launch, and ongoing optimization, including strategy, ad management, data-driven optimizations, budget management, tag management, reporting and trafficking in Campaign Manager 360.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights through regular reporting to support the Senior Manager.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously test and optimize creative, copy, audience targeting, and placements to maximize campaign outcomes.
- Budget & Benchmark Management: Track budgets and ensure campaigns meet or exceed defined KPIs and conversion objectives on a daily basis.
- Collaboration & Communication: Partner with internal teams and agency partners to discuss strategy, execution, and campaign results.
- Creative Support: Provide recommendations to internal and external creative teams, ensure timely delivery of assets, and coordinate with agency partners.

- Quality Assurance & Accuracy: Maintain meticulous attention to detail through QA checks, pacing reviews, and budget documentation to ensure flawless campaign execution.
- ROI Focused Execution: Ensure campaigns are executed accurately from planning through measurement to achieve optimal return on investment.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required.
Professional Experience
- 3+ Years Proficient in programmatic display tactics, strategy development and execution required.
- Hands-on experience with DSPs (e.g. DV360, Criteo). Familiarity with ad verification tools (DoubleVerify); experience using analytics platforms (CM360) required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting required.
- Proficient in navigating data dashboards such as Datorama, Clinch and PowerBI required.

- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently to ensure all deadlines are met.
- The ability to develop a story based on data to present to internal and external team members.
- Report on campaign performance to internal and external teams.
Knowledge
- Familiarity with ad serving, tagging, and tracking processes.
- High Understanding of DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, and DMPs.
- Fluency in analyzing media performance metrics such as ROAS.
- Audience segmentation and targeting strategy (first-, second-, and third-party data).
- Bid strategy adjustments and pacing management.
- Understanding of display, rich media, video, and native ad formats.
- Collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners to align strategies, share insights, and drive toward shared campaign and business objectives.
- Leverage data and performance insights to evaluate options, recommend optimizations, and support informed, strategic decisions in partnership with your manager.
- Clearly articulate campaign strategies, progress, and performance updates to teammates and leadership. Foster open communication to ensure alignment and proactive problem-solving.
- Maintain a strong focus on achieving company, team, and campaign KPIs. Set measurable goals, track progress, and consistently demonstrate accountability and impact through performance results.

Compensation:
Competitive pay range of $70,000-$75,000 per year * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.*Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular time.
