eCommerce Specialist

Position Summary

Emser Tile is recruiting for a eCommerce Specialist to help grow our indirect eCommerce business opportunities with the goal of driving revenue, building relationships and creating brand awareness. This key position will build and develop capabilities around eCommerce to accelerate growth strategies with our online retail partners.

This role will collaborate with Marketing, IT, Product Development and Sales to build, develop, and execute strategies across the full portfolio of Emser Tile products to deliver a seamless shopper experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the accuracy and consistency of product information/assets within Emsers Product Information System (PIM) and setup of direct customer related product feeds/downloads
  • Responsible for the implementation of product presence (item setup, enhanced brand content, etc.), traffic generation, co-marketing and reporting for online retail channels
  • Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with eCommerce partners to ensure Emser is well represented across partner websites and take action necessary to drive eCommerce strategy and results
  • Identify and recommend potential site improvements or changes for merchandising, based on knowledge of the category, SKU performance, industry trends, customer behaviors and insights from the internal teams
  • Optimize product search and navigation, promotional content slots, product content, merchandising, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Analyze site and account KPI patterns including traffic, conversion funnel, customer analytics, site behavior, products, and SKU performance, while delivering weekly reports to management
  • Analyze daily analytics from marketing campaigns, eCommerce partners and internal ERP system to assist in guiding and developing merchandising strategies
  • Work with eCommerce partners to proactively troubleshoot any fulfillment issues, stock availability and ensure a smooth flow of inventory
  • Assist in the creation, optimization, and execution of digital content across partner websites, including, but not limited to A+ content, product images, product videos, display advertising content, product descriptions and keywords
  • Closely monitor retail, online and mobile shopping trends, and maintain knowledge of competition and opportunities in ecommerce

Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of eCommerce and Digital Marketing best practices
  • Experience with Big Box Improvement stores and online home retailers is a plus
  • Account management or equivalent experience working with 3rd part vendors and partners
  • Highly analytical and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with exceptional Excel skills including reporting and template building.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to tailor content to a specific audience
  • Working knowledge of gross margins, adjusted gross margins, ROAS, and other core eCommerce metrics (CTR, conversion rate, etc.) a plus
  • Experience with enterprise ecommerce tools/platforms, retailer portals, Google Analytics and PIM systems
  • 2-5 years experience in digital or e-commerce related fields
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or similar degree
  • eCommerce platform and external third-party support, including key partner storefronts, portals, and potential future state B2C shopping experience.
  • Work with cross-functional team members for ongoing improvements, promotions, preorders, enhanced listings, and campaign considerations to drive online sales
