Your Impact
The Director, Talent Attraction & Strategic Talent Programs leads the strategy and execution of Lowe's enterprise-wide approach to attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across all levels, with a particular emphasis on strategic talent pipelines and early career programs. This role brings together recruitment marketing, employer branding, and strategic talent programs-including university recruiting, internships, military hiring, and other emerging pipelines-into a cohesive talent attraction strategy.
This leader is responsible for advancing Lowe's employer brand, overseeing recruitment marketing channels and campaigns, and developing scalable talent programs that build high-quality, diverse pipelines aligned with business needs. As a strategic partner to senior leadership, this role helps shape hiring strategies, elevate the candidate experience, and strengthen Lowe's position as an employer of choice across key talent segments.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute an integrated talent attraction strategy that aligns recruitment marketing, employer branding, and strategic talent programs with business priorities.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, HR, and Talent Acquisition on workforce planning, talent pipelines, and market positioning.
  • Lead and evolve Lowe's employer value proposition and recruitment marketing strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning across all candidate touchpoints, including the careers site, social media, campaigns, content, and paid/owned/earned media.
  • Oversee creative direction, storytelling, vendors, tools, and budget to strengthen Lowe's brand as an employer of choice and maximize ROI and performance.
  • Use data, market insights, competitive intelligence, and key performance metrics to refine strategies, improve outcomes, and drive data-informed decisions
  • Design and lead enterprise strategic talent programs including university recruiting, internships, military/veteran hiring, and other emerging or non-traditional talent pipelines aligned to business needs.
  • Build and manage external partnerships with universities, military organizations, and other programs to create sustainable talent pipelines and strengthen Lowe's external brand presence.
  • Oversee internship and fellowship programs to ensure strong candidate experience, conversion rates, and business impact.
  • Establish scalable processes, tools, and technologies to support high-volume and strategic hiring needs while leading process improvements that enhance recruiting efficiency.
  • Partner across HRBPs, business leaders, DEI, marketing, community relations, government affairs, and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure an aligned and seamless talent attraction approach.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, building capability in strategic thinking, data analytics, and consultative partnership while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Marketing, HR, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience leading talent attraction, recruitment marketing, and/or early talent programs
  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Proven experience developing and executing employer brand and recruitment marketing strategies across multiple channels
  • Experience designing and leading early talent programs (university recruiting, internships, military/veteran hiring)
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives across large organizations
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, external partnerships, and program budgets
  • Strong experience leveraging data, analytics, and insights to inform strategy and measure ROI

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in high-volume or enterprise-scale hiring environments
  • Experience building non-traditional and diverse talent pipelines
  • Experience partnering with marketing and community organizations
  • Experience with talent acquisition technologies (ATS, CRM, programmatic media, analytics tools)
  • Military recruiting or military service experience
