Lead AI transformation by defining strategy, building initiatives, driving organizational change, and ensuring responsible AI use while measuring outcomes.
Daxko builds the software that powers fitness, wellness, and community organizations—everything from member management and payments to digital engagement and analytics. From small studios to the largest associations, we help thousands of fitness businesses streamline operations, enhance member experiences, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
We’re looking for a Director of AI Transformation to lead this next chapter. This is a unique opportunity to shape how AI is adopted across an entire organization — not just defining the strategy, but turning it into real, measurable outcomes. You’ll help teams work smarter, move faster, and focus on what matters most.
If you’re energized by building from the ground up, influencing across teams, and turning emerging technology into meaningful impact, this role was built for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Shape how AI shows up at Daxko: You’ll define and lead our enterprise AI strategy, building a clear roadmap for how AI and automation improve the way we work. You’ll prioritize initiatives based on real business impact and ensure we’re investing in the right tools and platforms.
- Turn ideas into real outcomes: This isn’t a strategy-only role. You’ll partner across teams to bring high-impact AI and automation initiatives to life — from early concept through implementation and adoption.
- Lead change across the organization: AI transformation is as much about people as it is about technology. You’ll guide how we introduce, communicate, and scale AI across teams. That includes partnering with HR on training, building role-specific learning paths, and helping employees feel confident using AI in their day-to-day work.
- Build the foundation for responsible AI: You’ll work closely with Security, Legal, and Data teams to ensure AI is used safely and responsibly. You’ll help shape how we manage data, govern tools, and create clear guidelines that support both innovation and trust.
- Drive smarter, more connected ways of working: You’ll identify opportunities to automate and streamline workflows across the business. By partnering with functional leaders, you’ll help teams adopt AI assistants, copilots, and automation tools that reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
- Measure what matters: You’ll define how we track success — from time saved and adoption rates to overall business impact — and share progress with leadership to guide future investment and priorities.
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in operational transformation, digital transformation, AI enablement, data readiness, or business systems in a SaaS or technology environment
- A track record of driving change across complex, cross-functional teams
- The ability to influence and align senior stakeholders, even without direct authority
- Strong understanding of AI tools and concepts, including generative AI and workflow automation
- Experience identifying and delivering automation opportunities across business functions
- Familiarity with modern integration and automation platforms (such as Workato, n8n, Zapier, or similar)
- A thoughtful approach to data, governance, and responsible AI use
- Clear communication skills — you can translate technical ideas into meaningful business outcomes
What Sets You Apart:
- You’ve helped build or scale an AI or automation function from the ground up
- You’re comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities
- You balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution
- You’re motivated by creating real impact, not just plans or presentations
