Job Description:

The Director of Analytics Engineering leads and coordinates analytics engineering activities in support of our Revenue, Marketing, and Finance departments. They maintain the ability to use our data & analytics technologies and tools to produce impactful analytics products & solutions.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop a consistent and effective support structure for the varied analytics needs across our Revenue, Marketing, and Finance departments
  • Help lead efforts to devise and implement scalable, sustainable solutions that bring together disparate data from a variety of sources
  • Provide training and consultation for analytics practitioners throughout Pluralsight
  • Develop and implement solutions supported by thorough research and analysis to increase operational performance across Revenue, Marketing, and Finance
  • Support end users on ad hoc data usage and be a subject matter expert on functional side of the business
Requirements:
  • Requires a minimum of 12 years of related or equivalent experience; or 8+ years and an advanced degree.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data curation, data transformation and data visualization
  • Experience with data warehousing architecture and data modeling standards
  • Experience leading large-scale analytics initiatives that enable the business to meet their objectives
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to senior, non-technical leaders and team members
  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.

Pay Transparency:

The annual US base salary range for this role is $167,200 - $220,000 USD. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
