OUR  MISSION

We exist to create a more connected, compassionate, and confident experience for people with cancer and those who care for them. We make it easier to get answers, access high-quality care quickly, and feel supported throughout treatment and beyond.

Today, Thyme Care is a market-leading value-based oncology care enabler, partnering with national and regional health plans, providers, and employers to deliver better outcomes and lower costs for thousands of people across the country. Our model combines high-touch human support with powerful technology and AI to bring together everyone involved in a person’s cancer journey: caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers.

As a tech-native organization, we believe technology should strengthen the human connection at the center of care. Through data science, automation, and AI, we simplify complexity, improve collaboration, and help care teams focus on what matters most: supporting people through cancer.

Looking ahead, our vision is bold: to become a household name in cancer care, where every person diagnosed asks for Thyme Care by name. If you’re inspired to make cancer care more human and to help reimagine what’s possible, we’d love to meet you. Together, we can build a future where every person with cancer feels truly cared for, in every moment that matters.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Thyme Care’s growth depends on how well we understand and design for the people who decide whether to partner with us. We are seeking a Director of B2B Marketing to lead this charge, a strategic thinker, skilled storyteller, and experienced cross-functional operator who can drive alignment across Product, Clinical, and Commercial teams.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this leader will oversee the full B2B Marketing function, including Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Content and Events. They will ensure that audience insights, brand storytelling, and market activation work in concert to build awareness, strengthen relationships, and drive demand across our partner ecosystem.

This individual will lead a team to synthesize market feedback, understand our business buyers and their decision-making process, and support Product in translating their roadmap into commercial context, connecting what we build to how we sell and communicate our value. They will also develop and execute channel, segment, and event strategies, shape a thought leadership platform that elevates Thyme Care’s voice in oncology care, and design a digital approach to reach and engage priority audiences.

We are looking for a player-coach who can both set the strategy and roll up their sleeves to execute.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Audience Insight & Market Understanding

  • Lead the synthesis of insights across health plans, employers, oncology practices, and health system administrators.
  • Establish a repeatable, insight-driven system for market and audience research that informs positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Translate market insights into actionable inputs for Product, Clinical, and Growth teams, helping Product identify how market trends, buyer needs, and competitive shifts inform roadmap prioritization.
  • Build and operationalize Thyme Care’s “voice of the customer” capability to ensure all teams share a unified, data-informed view of the market.
  • Proactively identify emerging market trends, competitive movements, and partner needs to inform strategy and planning.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Positioning

  • Lead the creation of clear, evidence-based value propositions and messaging frameworks that guide all B2B campaigns, sales materials, and partner communications.
  • Translate complex capabilities into differentiated stories that resonate with key buyer personas and decision-makers.
  • Partner closely with Product and Commercial teams to translate the product roadmap into compelling narratives, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end go-to-market plans for new launches, major features, and strategic partnerships.

Content, Channel & Demand Strategy

  • Oversee the creation of thought leadership, narratives, and creative assets that deepen engagement and trust with partners.
  • Build and execute an integrated event strategy, including industry conferences, partner roundtables, and owned experiences that strengthen Thyme Care’s market presence and relationships.
  • Develop and scale an account-based marketing (ABM) approach that aligns tailored content, campaigns, and events to the needs and priorities of high-value target accounts and key partner segments.
  • Partner with Clinical teams to translate expertise into impactful thought leadership content such as white papers, reports, and speaking opportunities.
  • Develop and execute an integrated channel and digital marketing strategy to reach and nurture key segments.
  • Establish KPIs and measurement plans to assess campaign, event, and content effectiveness, connecting marketing performance to business outcomes.

Sales Enablement & Commercial Partnership

  • Partner with the Sales and Partnership Operations teams to create high-impact sales tools, demos, and enablement materials that bring our value story to life.
  • Support large opportunities with tailored messaging, presentations, and strategic content.
  • Contribute to client QBRs and use partner feedback and data from the field to adjust marketing strategies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on how Thyme Care’s solutions align with partner goals and improve member outcomes.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary B2B marketing team, fostering curiosity, accountability, and excellence.
  • Serve as a key thought partner to the VP of Marketing and executive leadership on market trends, buyer dynamics, and growth opportunities.
  • Build and refine operational rhythms that connect audience insight to execution across teams.
  • Partner deeply with Product leadership to ensure marketing insights inform development priorities and that new capabilities are effectively introduced to the market.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on B2B audiences.
  • 5+ years of healthcare experience in health plans or B2B2C virtual care/digital health. Oncology experience is a significant plus.
  • 2+ years experience engaging directly with customers through sales, product demos, or account management.
  • Demonstrated experience in buyer research and insights, messaging and positioning, go-to-market planning, and content and demand marketing.
  • A successful track record of developing competitive, insight-driven stories that differentiate complex solutions.
  • Strong ability to translate technical or clinical concepts into clear, compelling narratives and content, including presentations, product guides, web content, and white papers.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and drive alignment across product, clinical, and commercial teams.
  • Experience developing and measuring multi-channel marketing campaigns and customer segment strategies.
  • Leadership experience guiding teams through strategic and planning exercises.
  • Strong command of KPI development and performance tracking to connect marketing execution to business results.
  • Comfort working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple stakeholders.

WHY THIS ROLE, WHY NOW

Thyme Care is partnering with more organizations that share our mission to improve the experience and outcomes of people living with cancer. As we expand our partnerships and capabilities, we need to more deeply understand our buyers and their evolving needs, and translate that understanding into strategies that drive meaningful impact.

This role is central to that mission. The Director of B2B Marketing will connect insight to action, aligning our teams and our story around what matters most to partners and members. By proactively connecting the dots across data, market signals, and relationships, this leader will help make Thyme Care a trusted, indispensable partner in transforming cancer care.

We embrace and celebrate a diversity of perspectives in reflection of our members and the members we serve. We are an equal-opportunity employer.

Be cautious of recruitment fraud, and always confirm that communications are coming from an official Thyme Care email.
