About Sprinter Health

At Sprinter Health, our mission is reimagining how people access care by bringing it directly into their homes. Nearly 30% of patients in the U.S. skip preventive or chronic care simply because they can’t get to a doctor’s office. For many, the ER becomes their first touchpoint with the healthcare system—driving over $300B in avoidable costs every year.

By using the same technologies that power leading marketplace and last-mile platforms, we deliver care where people are, especially those who need it most. So far, we’ve supported more than 2 million patients across 22 states, completed over 130,000 in-home visits, and maintained a 92 NPS. Our team of clinicians, technologists, and operators have raised over $125M to date from investors like a16z, General Catalyst, GV, and Accel and enjoy multi-year runway.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Director of Business Development to drive large-scale partnerships with health plans and national payers. You’ll own the full enterprise sales cycle—from sourcing and pitching to closing transformative partnerships that shape how preventive care is delivered in the home. This is a high-impact role with executive visibility, direct influence on company strategy, and the opportunity to accelerate Sprinter’s national expansion

Compensation

Base salary for this position will fall between the range of $150,000-$200,000; base salary typically reflects 40-50% of total OTE. This does not account for equity or any other benefits.

What you will do:

  • Source, develop, and manage a pipeline of health plan opportunities
  • Own the full enterprise deal cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Build and deepen relationships with senior payer and health plan executives
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and partnership materials to support the sales process
  • Represent Sprinter at industry conferences, events, and executive forums
  • Partner with Client Success to ensure smooth handoff and implementation
  • Influence product strategy and roadmap based on partner feedback and market demand

What you have done:

  • 5+ years in enterprise sales or business development with a consistent record of exceeding targets
  • Closed partnerships with health plans, managed care organizations, or national payers
  • Developed long-term relationships with senior executives in healthcare
  • Sold complex solutions in preventive care, risk adjustment, quality, or population health
  • Managed full-cycle deals and collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes
  • Traveled regularly for onsite meetings, conferences, or executive engagements

What gives you an edge:

  • Experience selling in-home assessments, Stars/HEDIS gap closure, or value-based care solutions
  • Deep knowledge of managed care operations, quality, and risk adjustment programs
  • Existing relationships with decision-makers across major health plans
  • Experience in early-stage or high-growth healthcare organizations

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary, performance bonus, and equity
  • Medical, dental, and vision fully covered for you and your family
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Unlimited PTO + flexible schedule
  • Generous parental leave (4 months for birthing parent, 2 months for partners)
  • Free daily lunch when onsite + stocked micro-kitchens
  • Travel support for client meetings and conferences
