We are looking for a Director of Business Development to lead the charge in expanding our global footprint. This role is built for a professional who loves the dynamic nature of high-stakes business development, someone who can represent arrivia with excellence at a major conference and then pivot to managing the precise logistical details that ensure our brand stands out. You will be a key driver of our growth, balancing strategic outreach with the hands-on execution that brings our partnerships to life.

The Role

  • Active Business Development: Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities from a targeted account list to build a high-impact pipeline for our executive leadership.
  • Market Representative: Serve as a primary face of arrivia at industry conferences, with travel of at least 1–2 times per month to drive prospecting and relationship building.
  • End-to-End Event Strategy: Own the conference calendar entirely—from strategic ROI planning and budget management to the hands-on coordination of booth setup, shipping, and on-site execution.
  • HubSpot Power User: Drive results through data by owning the HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate deal tracking, lead management, and the executive-level reporting needed to guide our growth.

The Profile

  • Experienced Leader: You bring 6+ years of experience in business development, sales operations, or partnerships.
  • HubSpot Proficiency: You are comfortable working deep within HubSpot to manage pipelines and optimize lead management workflows.
  • Industry Expert: We have a strong preference for candidates with a background in the Travel, Hospitality, or Loyalty sectors.
  • Execution-Focused: You have the ability to think strategically about our market position while ensuring every detail of our event logistics is handled with precision.
  • Local Presence: You are based in (or willing to relocate to) the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for local collaboration and event management.

Benefits & Perks

  • Unlimited PTO: We offer unlimited PTO because we want you to experience the world. We believe in high performance and trust our team to take the time they need to recharge and see the travel industry firsthand.
  • Exclusive Travel Rates: Access deep discounts and exclusive travel perks through the very platforms we build for our partners.
  • Health & Future: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, along with a 401k plan.
