As the Senior Director, Business Intelligence, you will be a critical and strategic senior leader responsible for driving the development and implementation of comprehensive business intelligence strategies within our organization. You will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to provide actionable insights, inform decision-making, and support overall business objectives. 

This senior-level position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and a proven track record of translating complex data into strategic business solutions.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of the organization's business intelligence strategy. Align business intelligence initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.

  • Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. Drive initiatives to improve data quality across the organization.

  • Oversee the analysis of complex datasets to derive meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. Provide strategic guidance based on data-driven decision-making.

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage business intelligence platforms and tools. Ensure that the BI infrastructure meets the organization's evolving needs for reporting, analytics, and visualization.

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of executive-level reports and dashboards. Ensure that key stakeholders have access to relevant and timely information.

  • Work closely with CIS and Information Security teams to ensure that business intelligence activities adhere to data security and regulatory compliance standards

  • Manage portfolio of projects; proactively raise resource constraints and make a recommendation on prioritization or way of gaining additional bandwidth.

  • Take ownership of communicating feedback, priorities, wins and challenges to the organization, team members, and core stakeholders.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and business intelligence professionals.

  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organization.

What You Bring:

  • Expertise in advanced data analysis techniques, including statistical modeling and predictive analytics. 

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles. Proven success in leading and executing business intelligence initiatives at a senior level.

  • Prior experience with technologies such as Snowflake and Tableau. 

  • Strong hands on experience with SQL, with the ability to query large, complex datasets. 

  • The ability to derive strategic insights from complex datasets and effectively communicate them to influence decision-making at an executive level.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large-scale, complex projects or programs. 

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and strategic concepts to diverse audiences, including board members, C-suite executives, and external stakeholders. 

  • Skilled in building relationships, influencing decisions, and articulating the strategic vision of the organization.

  • Exceptional people leader with a track record of growing and developing effective teams. 

  • Very high EQ, with fine-tuned instincts and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates sound, consistent, trusted judgment.

Annual Base Salary Range: $200,000 – $250,000.

Actual compensation may vary based on prior experience, skills, location, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
