Lead the Patient Group's business operations: define strategy and operational frameworks, partner with Product/Engineering/Data to set priorities and roadmaps, align cross-functional stakeholders, and hire/mentor a lean ops team to scale patient acquisition, core experience, growth, and partnerships.

The Role

The Operations and Analytics team powers Veriff’s business engine, cracking the online identity crisis through scalable, data-driven insight. As Director of Business Operations, you will serve as a high-leverage operator working closely with the SVP of Operations and Analytics and the broader leadership team. You will combine strategic thinking with a bias for execution—owning planning cycles, driving critical cross-functional initiatives, and building the operational infrastructure that lets Veriff scale.

What you’ll do
  • Strategic Planning & Goal-Setting: Lead company-wide planning cycles, from annual strategy to quarterly OKR setting. Build frameworks that turn ambitions into measurable commitments with clear accountability.
  • Executive Cadence: Prepare executive and board-level materials synthesizing business performance and key decisions. Run the operating cadence for the SVP, including leadership reviews and strategic offsites.
  • Cross-Functional Initiatives: Own 2–4 high-priority business problems at any given time, driving them from definition through to execution. Act as "connective tissue" across functions like Product, Engineering, and Finance to unblock dependencies.
  • Operational Rigor: Identify and close gaps in decision-making and workflows. Develop the tools and playbooks required to scale, and partner with Finance on resource allocation and business cases.
You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have
  • Professional Background: 7+ years in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or BizOps at a high-growth tech company.
  • Strategic Execution: A track record of delivering complex initiatives with measurable business impact and experience running OKR processes.
  • Analytical Depth: Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in SQL. You can translate ambiguous questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
  • Communication: Excellent executive presence with the ability to distill complex situations for audiences ranging from individual contributors to the Board.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to influence without authority and build trust across a complex organization.
Nice to have
  • MBA or postgraduate degree from a top institution.
  • Experience in identity verification, fintech, or cybersecurity.
  • Experience scaling a company from Series B through to public markets or institutional scale.
  • Familiarity with M&A due diligence or integration work-streams.
And you bring these mindsets to the table
  • Self-starter: You thrive in ambiguous environments and can define a roadmap that connects to impact.
  • Deep problem solver: You push beyond symptoms to uncover root causes, especially in adversarial settings.
  • Clear communicator: You make complex analyses understandable and actionable to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic executor: You can zoom out to align on priorities and zoom in to write SQL, review Python, or debug measurement issues.
  • Strong team builder: You invest in people, create clarity, and raise standards through coaching and example.
