Collectors is the leading creator of innovative technology that provides value-added services for collectors worldwide. We grade, authenticate, vault, and sell millions of record-setting collectibles, all while modernizing and digitalizing the process to further our mission of helping collectors pursue their passions. We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.

Our services span collectible trading cards, autographs, comic books, coins, video games, event tickets, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, Beckett, SGC, and Card Ladder.

Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 3000 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana, California and offices in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Germany, and France.

We’re looking for a Director, Business Systems to lead the strategy, transformation, and day-to-day operations of Collectors’ core financial and business systems. You’ll own the technology backbone that powers our Finance organization—spanning NetSuite (ERP), Adaptive Insights (FP&A and planning), Workday (HCM and payroll), and Salesforce (CRM)—and serve as the bridge between Finance, IT, and the business. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of accounting, technology, and process improvement. You’ll drive system transformation initiatives alongside optimizing the current environment, manage a portfolio of external implementation partners and vendors, and ensure our systems scale with one of the fastest-growing companies in the collectibles industry.

You’ll report to the SVP, Financial Operations and work from our Santa Ana, CA corporate office headquarters.

What You’ll Do:

Systems Strategy & Transformation
  • Define and execute the multi-year roadmap for Collectors’ financial and business systems, aligned with the company’s growth strategy and operational priorities across all subsidiaries (PSA, PCGS, Beckett, SGC, and Card Ladder).

  • Lead system transformation initiatives including ERP optimization and expansion (NetSuite), planning and forecasting modernization (Adaptive Insights), HCM and payroll system enhancements (Workday), and CRM improvements (Salesforce).

  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, modules, and integrations to close functional gaps, improve automation, and reduce manual processes across Finance, HR, and Operations.

  • Build business cases for system investments; manage budgets, timelines, and executive reporting for all active and planned system projects.

Vendor & Partner Management
  • Own relationships with external implementation partners, systems integrators, and software vendors; negotiate contracts, manage SOWs, and hold partners accountable to scope, quality, and timelines.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Workday, and Salesforce vendor relationships, including license management, support escalations, and product roadmap alignment.

  • Evaluate, select, and onboard new vendors and consultants as transformation initiatives require; build a reliable bench of partners who understand Collectors’ business.

  • Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects across multiple vendors, ensuring cross-workstream dependencies are identified and risks are mitigated

ERP & Financial Systems (NetSuite)
  • Serve as the functional owner of NetSuite across all Collectors entities; oversee configuration, customization, integrations, and ongoing administration.

  • Partner with the Corporate Controller, Order-to-Cash, GL Accounting, AP, and Payroll teams to translate business requirements into system solutions that improve close efficiency, reporting accuracy, and internal controls.

  • Drive NetSuite optimization initiatives including chart of accounts standardization, multi-subsidiary consolidation improvements, workflow automation, and reporting enhancements.

  • Oversee integrations between NetSuite and upstream/downstream systems (Salesforce, payment processors, banking platforms, Workday, Adaptive Insights).

Planning & FP&A Systems (Adaptive Insights)
  • Own the Adaptive Insights environment; partner with FP&A to enhance budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning capabilities.

  • Drive improvements in model architecture, data integrations, and reporting to support a multi-entity, multi-currency planning environment.

  • Ensure timely and accurate data flows between Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, and other source systems.

HCM & Payroll Systems (Workday)
  • Own finance integrations with Workday in partnership with HR; ensure the platform supports Collectors’ expanding domestic and international workforce.

  • Support system enhancements for payroll processing, benefits administration, compensation, and workforce analytics.

  • Manage the Workday-to-NetSuite integration for payroll journal entries and headcount reporting.

CRM Systems (Salesforce)
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure Salesforce supports revenue operations, customer management, and order workflows.

  • Oversee integrations between Salesforce and NetSuite for order-to-cash, billing, and revenue recognition processes.

  • Drive CRM enhancements that improve data quality, pipeline visibility, and customer experience.

Governance, Controls & Data Integrity
  • Establish and enforce system governance frameworks including change management processes, access controls, environment management, and release procedures.

  • Ensure all financial systems support SOX-readiness requirements; partner with Internal Audit and the Corporate Controller on IT general controls (ITGCs) and application controls.

  • Own master data governance across systems; drive data quality, consistency, and integrity across the enterprise application landscape.

  • Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for all critical financial systems.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of experience in business systems, financial systems, or ERP management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role owning a portfolio of enterprise applications.

  • Deep hands-on experience with NetSuite required, including multi-subsidiary configuration, customization (SuiteScript, workflows, saved searches), and integration architecture.

  • Working knowledge of Adaptive Insights (or comparable EPM tools such as Anaplan or Planful), Workday, and Salesforce; direct implementation or administration experience with at least two of these platforms.

  • Proven track record managing external vendors, systems integrators, and implementation partners—including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and delivery oversight.

  • Strong understanding of core finance and accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, revenue recognition, payroll, consolidation) and how they map to system configurations and workflows.

  • Experience supporting SOX compliance from a systems perspective, including ITGCs, application controls, and segregation of duties.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead system transformation programs in high-growth, multi-entity environments; experience with M&A system integration is a strong plus.

  • Excellent communicator who can translate between technical and business audiences; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., NetSuite Administrator, PMP, ITIL) preferred.

  • Experience in consumer services, e-commerce, or marketplace business models is a plus.

Salary Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $185,000–$230,000. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set. This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus and equity participation.
