Our Director of Client Strategy is a jack of all trade leader for their clients' business. They help drive conversation from the boardroom to the warehouse. It is their job to help their clients make decisions that will strengthen their business in the long term and lead the charge on implementing those strategies across the world’s largest retailers.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creation and development of omni-retail strategies driving toward your clients goals using data driven, customer centric decision making.
  • Gather and analyze market and industry data, staying current on omni-retail trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify opportunities, strategic pivots, and enhance efficiency, effectively communicating and training on these findings for the benefit of the team and clients.
  • Use tact and reasoning in discussing problems, presenting data, and making strategic recommendations, taking responsibility for your actions and decisions across all clients that roll up to you.
  • Define and execute the overarching strategic vision for your team: aligning it with market trends and the competitive landscape, establishing and nurturing key partnerships, oversee budgeting and resource allocation, and driving the long-term growth and success of your team, the company, and our clients.
  • Assume full responsibility for managing your client: the entire meeting lifecycle (client preparation, communication, timeline updates, agenda creation, etc.), development and maintenance of project management (defining project scope, goals, deliverables, etc.) and timelines.
  • Develop and oversee the client teams processes, aligning them with the company's strategic goals, while leading the team and collaborating cross functionally to implement large scale process changes and evaluating their impact on the overall business performance.
  • Able to handle the impact of errors on the company’s prestige, relationship, and end results by being responsible for the profitability, revenue, margin, etc. for your client set and the company.
  • Foster strategic client relationships, align the team with client objectives, and ensure effective communication and problem-solving while maintaining a positive client perception and support for the organization's goals.
  • May have responsibility to provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to a team of employees, managing work assignments, financial responsibility, providing assistance and instructions as needed, and ensuring their successful performance.
  • Has a high level of responsibility & accountability to manage and control funds (revenue & expenses) within your team.

  • Expertise in Amazon and Walmart platforms: Vendor & Seller Central, Walmart Retail Link & Supplier Center
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit – ability to pivot quickly, a curiosity to learn, and a sense of ownership and confidence in leading clients and cross functional partners
  • Remains calm under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and demanding work environment, overseeing multiple moving pieces, decisions, conflicting priorities, and diverse relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability of excellent sound judgement, professionalism, and effective (verbal & written) communication.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Possess strong analytical, interpretative, and constructive thinking skills in varied situations, coupled with tact and reasoning, enabling effective problem discussion, data presentation, and responsible decision-making.
  • Expertise in developing visually appealing, effective and data driven communication with detail and accuracy.
  • Expert understanding of financial responsibility and the management of funds and inventory.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to both take and give constructive feedback as a tool for professional growth
  • Proven track record of managing people effectively by providing a clear vision, conflict resolution, and development opportunities to ensure the success of your team.
  • Exudes the character traits: hungry, humble, EQ, excellence, transparency, relationship, ownership & teamwork
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 8 years of work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or experience equivalent to four years of college) in a related field
