Summary
OSV is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Consulting Services to deliver exceptional customer experiences across a diverse portfolio of services, engagements, and initiatives. This role will oversee customer-facing resources across OSV services, including onboarding, upgrades and downgrades, add-ons, seasonal/compliance, and post-production or ad-hoc engagements.

As the Director of Consulting Services, you will build and lead a high-performing global organization of managers, consultants, and analysts spanning Payroll, Tax, Benefits, Leave Administration, Financials, and Integrations. You’ll set strategic direction, define delivery standards, and ensure engagements are executed on time, within scope, and in alignment with OSV’s business objectives. This role requires a seasoned leader who can translate organizational goals into team-level execution, cultivate a high-trust culture, and serve as a visible and trusted partner to customers, OSV leadership, and the broader Workday ecosystem.

Responsibilities
•    Define and lead the Consulting Services strategy, governance model, and delivery frameworks across OSV’s full portfolio of customer engagement types.
•    Own organizational design and talent strategy for Consulting Services, including hiring, development, succession planning, and performance management across a multi-tiered team of managers and individual contributors.
•    Set and uphold delivery standards across all customer engagement types, including onboarding, upgrades, add-ons, seasonal/compliance programs, and post-production engagements, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution at scale.
•    Collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) team(s) to ensure seamless delivery of complex and strategic customer projects.
•    Lead seasonal readiness planning for ACA, Open Enrollment, and other compliance-driven programs, including ownership of capacity planning and external resourcing decisions to meet delivery commitments.
•    Drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and compliance across all engagements.
•    Establish and own the operating cadence for Consulting Services, including KPIs, resource utilization targets, capacity models, and performance reporting for leadership and executive audiences.
•    Engage and support your teams and broader PMO & Consulting Services engagements as an Executive Sponsor, escalation point, or expert representing OSV to both customers and partners in the ecosystem.
•    Partner with Workday and Workday partners on project methodology, approach, and execution.
•    Own and manage the Consulting Services P&L, partnering with PMO & Consulting Services leadership and Finance to align budget planning with operational and growth objectives.
•    Partner and align with Sales, Marketing, and Product to support the enhancement of existing and development of new services and offerings.
•    Partner with the Customer Office and Service Delivery leaders to support broad customer engagement and success.
•    Engage with R&D to enhance and develop new automations and tools to deliver efficient and improved services.

Qualifications
Education/Certification Requirement    

•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    Workday certification preferred

Required  

•    10+ years of experience in professional services/consulting, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
•    Proven success in managing and leading teams through complex, cross-functional customer projects.
•    Experience with Workday deployments and implementations.
•    Workday functional/technical knowledge
•    Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
•    Experience managing a P&L.
•    Resource management experience, including utilization.

Preferred    

•    General knowledge of Payroll, Tax, Benefits, Absence/Leave or Integrations.
