Overview

The Director, Corporate and Product Communications will lead the company’s external communications strategy across Minute Media’s corporate brand and B2B product and technology platforms. This includes corporate announcements (e.g., investor relations, M&A activity), product and technology launches, strategic partnerships, and industry thought leadership. A key focus of this role will be positioning Minute Media’s technology platforms and solutions within the broader sports, content, and technology ecosystem.

This role operates within the Marketing Team, which oversees both internal and external communications for the corporate entity as well as for our content brands and technology suite. In addition, this team leads branding and marketing initiatives (i.e. industry events, brand campaigns, etc) across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead annual PR/external communications planning for Minute Media and its B2B products with a goal of advancing business objectives and amplifying both corporate and product initiatives, including business announcements, strategic partnerships, product roll-outs, etc.
  • Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify communication opportunities, to ensure message accuracy and consistency and to plan for any communication gaps or challenges
  • Manage and liaise with external PR resources within international geos
  • Draft press materials (press releases, media alerts, talking points) as needed
  • Create and execute thoughtful leadership strategy for key company stakeholders
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with key reporters in media, business, entertainment and trade spaces
  • Measure, evaluate and report the effectiveness of external communications initiatives to brand stakeholders and work alongside them to optimize for the future
  • Lead any crisis management conversations with the necessarily internal/external stakeholders and construct communications plans accordingly

Where You'll Be

  • Remote (East Coast Preferred)
  • Some travel required for industry events

The expected salary range for this position is between $135,000 and $150,000. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location.The benefits available for this position include flexible vacation policy, 15 paid holidays, paid parental leave, health insurance, 401(k) with company match.

What You Have

  • 8+ years experience in public relations or within the media/ad tech industry.
  • Expertise in communication strategies for digital media, sports, and/or tech brands, with proven success driving brand awareness, engagement, and positive sentiment.
  • Strong media relationships with key journalists across advertising, tech, sports, and business.
  • Professional presence with a track record of effectively communicating with senior leadership, cross-department teams, and reporters.
  • High-level performance in fast-paced environments, with the ability to manage multiple projects and navigate unexpected change.
  • Creative and data-driven mindset, willing to take risks and use data to optimize communication strategies.
