About Incubeta:

Incubeta is a global marketing partner focused on driving profitable growth by bringing media, creative, data, and technology together into one integrated solution. We partner with CMOs and business leaders who demand clarity, accountability, and meaningful results. We are positioned for momentum in the Americas, believing the future belongs to agencies that can connect performance and brand, strategy and execution, creative and media.

Role summary:

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for owning and scaling the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) capability within a broader Market Intelligence function.

You will lead the GMP consultancy offering end-to-end, combining deep technical expertise, team leadership, and commercial ownership, with a clear mandate to evolve the function into a more scalable, resilient, and high-performing capability.

This is not a purely strategic or managerial role. We’re looking for a hands-on technical leader who remains close to the platforms, acts as a senior escalation point, and leads by example in solving complex client challenges.

You’ll operate at the intersection of ad tech, media, sales, and data, playing a key role in both delivery excellence and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Delivery
    • Act as the senior escalation point for complex GMP-related challenges, particularly across DV360 and CM360
    • Provide hands-on support across key client work, troubleshooting platform issues and guiding solutions
    • Maintain a strong working knowledge across the broader GMP stack (SA360, GA4, etc.)
    • Lead by example, actively contributing to delivery rather than operating purely at a distance
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building
    • Lead and develop a team of experienced GMP practitioners
    • Build a more scalable and resilient capability, reducing reliance on individual specialists
    • Design and implement structured upskilling initiatives across the GMP stack
    • Mentor senior team members and support their development in both technical and client-facing areas
  • Commercial & Operational Ownership
    • Own the P&L for the GMP function, including forecasting, planning, and performance tracking
    • Identify opportunities to increase platform adoption, usage, and revenue contribution
    • Drive operational improvements to support scalability, efficiency, and consistency across clients
    • Contribute to the broader commercial success of the Market Intelligence function
  • Sales & Growth Enablement
    • Partner closely with sales and growth teams to support new business opportunities
    • Lead the development of technical proposals and solution design for GMP-related pitches
    • Help position GMP as a strategic growth driver, not just a delivery function
    • Support cross-sell and upsell opportunities across existing clients
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with media, strategy, sales, and data science teams to deliver integrated solutions
    • Ensure GMP capability is aligned with broader marketing intelligence and effectiveness strategies
    • Contribute to a more connected, less siloed approach across the business
  • Partnership & Innovation
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Google GMP
    • Stay at the forefront of new platform developments, features, and industry changes
    • Drive adoption of new capabilities (e.g. privacy-first solutions, automation, AI-led features)

Requirements:

  • 8–10+ years experience in digital marketing / ad tech, with strong agency exposure
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in DV360 and CM360 (priority areas)
  • Working knowledge of SA360, GA4, and broader GMP ecosystem
  • Proven experience leading experienced practitioners, not just junior teams
  • Ability to act as a senior technical authority and escalation point
  • Strong understanding of commercial models, with experience owning or influencing P&L
  • Experience supporting sales processes, pitches, or client growth initiatives
  • Confident communicator, able to translate technical detail into commercial value

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working within a GMP reseller or consultancy environment
  • Exposure to client-side roles (understanding internal stakeholder challenges)
  • Knowledge of data platforms and tools (e.g. BigQuery, Looker, GCP)
  • Experience with Performance Max, value-based bidding, or feed management
  • Google certifications across DV360, CM360, SA360, GA4
  • Experience contributing to or building go-to-market strategies
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, and emerging ad tech trends

US Salary range: $160,000 - $190,000 plus bonus potential. Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time based on individual and company performance. However, the initial salary offer is based on several factors such as the individual's location, relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.

As a general policy, Incubeta does not offer employment visa sponsorships upon hire or in the future.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
