Director, Decision Intelligence

Kroll's Decision Intelligence practice supports clients in making financially significant decisions by transforming complex financial data into clear, practical insights. The team combines financial and commercial expertise with data science and AI to deliver solutions across transaction analytics, reporting, AI applications and data monetization.

Responsibilities:

  • Originate and convert opportunities through Kroll's existing client platform, partnering with Transaction Advisory, Portfolio Valuation, Financial Advisory and Accounting Advisory teams to embed Decision Intelligence within active client mandates

  • Develop and maintain senior client relationships across financial sponsors, portfolio operations teams and corporate finance leadership, acting as a trusted advisor on analytics, reporting and AI-enabled decision support

  • Lead the design of structured analytics solutions for client problems, including reporting modernization, data workflow design, financial and operational analytics, scenario and forecasting models, and AI-enabled tools that accelerate insight generation

  • Oversee delivery to ensure technical quality, commercial discipline and a consistent client experience across engagements

  • Contribute to the development of collateral and joint pursuit playbooks, including pricing structures, scoping methodologies and reusable frameworks

  • Represent Decision Intelligence in cross-practice strategy conversations and contribute to the practice's thought leadership and external market presence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Analytics or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in advisory, consulting, corporate finance, financial sponsor or analytics-led roles, with a track record of leading client engagements and converting event-driven work into recurring relationships

  • Hands-on delivery experience in several of the following: managed data services, reporting and FP&A modernization, financial and operational analytics, scenario and forecasting modeling, M&A integration analytics, transaction analytics, or AI-enabled decision support

  • Comfortable working across practices and disciplines to deliver integrated client propositions and solutions

  • Working fluency with modern analytics tools and environments (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Databricks, Azure or comparable cloud platforms); technical depth is valued, but the role is primarily commercial and client-facing

  • Practical experience applying generative AI and modern AI-enabled tooling to analytics and reporting workflows, with a clear point of view on where these technologies create client value

  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to scope, price and structure both fixed-fee and recurring engagements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present analytical insight clearly to senior client stakeholders

  • Strong personal motivation to grow client relationships and help shape how Decision Intelligence develops in the US market
