About the Role
We’re looking for a Director of Demand Generation to own new business pipeline growth across Prophecy’s inbound, outbound, and product-led motions. This is a high-impact role with direct accountability for translating growth strategy into measurable pipeline outcomes and continuous optimization of how buyers discover, evaluate, and convert.
You’ll operate across strategy and execution—designing integrated demand programs, diagnosing funnel performance end-to-end, and making clear, data-backed decisions about where to invest or pull back. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and RevOps, with regular visibility and communication at the executive level.
What you’ll do:
- Own net-new and expansion pipeline targets across inbound, outbound, and product-led growth motions
- Design, execute, and optimize integrated demand programs across the full buyer journey
- Diagnose funnel performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement measurable improvements
- Balance short-term pipeline creation with long-term efficiency and scalable growth
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, and RevOps to align strategy, execution, and outcomes
- Communicate performance, tradeoffs, and priorities clearly to senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in Demand Generation, Growth, or Revenue Marketing roles in B2B environments
- Proven ownership of pipeline outcomes, with accountability for net-new and expansion growth
- Deep understanding of B2B buyer journeys across multiple personas, deal sizes, and sales motions
- Strong command of demand and funnel metrics (conversion rates, CAC, pipeline velocity, ROI)
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose what’s working, what’s not, and why—using data to drive decisions
- Experience designing, running, and iterating on demand programs and growth experiment
- Exceptional executive-level communication and structured thinking skills
- Comfortable leading cross-functionally in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Seniority: Director
Location: Bay Area, CA or Remote
