About Us
Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. Food can be medicine: working with a Registered Dietitian is one of the most effective interventions available, but <1% of eligible Americans use their covered benefits.

Nourish is building an AI-native, patient-friendly healthcare system centered on nutrition that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and helps people live healthier, longer lives. We launched three years ago, are live in all 50 states, and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform.

We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised $115M from top-tier VCs including JP Morgan Growth Equity, Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Maverick Ventures, Box Group, Atomico, G Squared, and Pinegrove Venture Partners. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

About the Role

As Director of Dietetics, you’ll be responsible for leading Nourish’s RD Clinical Quality function, with a focus on increasing the impact of Nourish’s coaching on provider effectiveness, patient retention, and clinical outcomes.

You’ll manage a team of Clinical Quality Managers (CQMs) who coach and support over 7k Registered Dietitians at Nourish. You’ll play a central role in shaping how Nourish delivers high quality nutrition care by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the team of managers. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional clinical skills with leadership expertise, empowering all clinicians to thrive while driving measurable outcomes for patients and providers.

This person will report into Tommy Kelley, the Head of Clinical Operations, and work closely with team members across the Operations, Product, and Payer teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the day-to-day management and performance of the Clinical Quality Manager team, ensuring CQMs are hitting productivity, SLA, and coaching impact targets
  • Improve the effectiveness of CQM coaching, using data and call reviews to identify what drives retention and behavior change for RDs
  • Establish clear performance management systems for CQMs, including goal setting, feedback, coaching plans, and escalation handling
  • Step in directly on escalated coaching situations, supporting your team of CQMs in difficult cases
  • Partner with Provider Enablement to define what great coaching looks like, across individual coaching, group sessions, cohort trainings, and new hire onboarding
  • Translate learnings from CQM work into scalable improvements by collaborating with Product, Data, and Ops on tooling, workflows, and AI-supported coaching
  • Help create the future-state structure and hiring plan for the CQM organization as we scale through 2026 and beyond
We’d love to hear from you if:
  • You are passionate about Nourish’s mission. You’re eager to be part of solving America’s healthcare crisis
  • You’re a licensed Registered Dietitian with 4+ years of clinical experience, ideally in outpatient and telehealth settings
  • You have 4+ years of people management experience, including managing multiple direct reports (ideally RDs) and driving team performance
  • You are metrics-driven and comfortable holding teams accountable to clear targets tied to retention, outcomes, and productivity
  • You’ve worked closely with non-clinical partners like Product, Ops, or Data and enjoy turning clinical insights into systems and tools
  • You are an adaptable problem solver, flexible to whatever the business needs, and proactive in your problem solving
  • You’re energized by coaching and developing managers
  • You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and enjoy building structure
