Job Description
Please note this a hybrid in-office role based in San Mateo, CA and reports to the VP of employee communications, experience and social impact.
In this newly created role, you will help build, implement and evolve our global employee communication strategy and programs. You will help create connections and community between our 5,000+ employees, senior leaders, and managers. You'll work with business leaders and our talented HR team to connect the organization through engaging communications that help people understand our strategy and culture, and reinforce what makes Freshworks a special place.

You see effective employee communications as the bedrock of a thriving organization and know how to prioritize the things that will have a lasting impact. You are rigorous and disciplined, and balance this will a healthy dose of fun and creativity to drive engagement and create a great workplace where everyone belongs.
Responsibilities:

  • Build and deliver an integrated employee communications strategy that helps Freshworks employees understand our business and feel connected to our culture.
  • Build and deliver meaningful communication events for employees, managers and senior leaders.
  • Help drive effective change and business transformation through targeted communications that help employees understand changes within the overall business context.
  • Scale communication consistency through training, templates and other self-service options.
  • Help develop our intranet content and strategy so that employees around the globe have a digital connection that reflects our culture and makes it easy to collaborate and get work done.


Qualifications

  • You have a proven track record of 10+ years creating and implementing effective and innovative employee communications, with experience in organizational change management, business transformation and managing work across global organizations.
  • You build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and influence senior leaders; you are comfortable providing constructive communications counsel to both.
  • You are a messaging expert and can create compelling messages and stories that build engagement and reinforce business priorities.
  • You have experience with digital communication channels and cross-functional intranet projects.
  • You are equally comfortable building a strategy or delivering it.
  • You maintain a high quality of communication with extraordinary attention to detail and excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • You have excellent people and project management skills.
  • You have experience and thrive in fast-paced environments where transformation and rapid change is part of how the business works.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel is required.


Additional Information
The annual OTE range for this position is between: $198,400-322,400 USD. Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.
