Why Harvey

At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate — not incrementally, but end-to-end. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come.

This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. With 1000+ customers in 58+ countries, strong product-market fit, and world-class investor support, we’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched.

Our team is sharp, motivated, and deeply committed to the mission. We move fast, operate with intensity, and take real ownership of the problems we tackle — from early thinking to long-term outcomes. We stay close to our customers — from leadership to engineers — and work together to solve real problems with urgency and care. If you thrive in ambiguity, push for excellence, and want to help shape the future of work alongside others who raise the bar, we invite you to build with us.

At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

Harvey is evolving from a suite of individual tools into a unified, agentic platform for all legal knowledge work. We are building more than just a chat interface; we are building the orchestration layer that allows legal professionals to automate complex workflows, reason over vast datasets, and execute multi-step tasks across the entire legal lifecycle.

The Core Product pillar sits at the center of this evolution. As the primary entry point and engagement driver for the Harvey ecosystem, this team is responsible for architecting the platform foundations and user experiences that power the next generation of AI-native legal applications. You will ensure we build a cohesive, agentic platform that serves as the operating system for the future of legal work, while continuing to drive significant engagement and growth for Harvey.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the Flagship Experience: You’ll oversee some of the most important surface areas of Harvey, including homepage, core chat experience, document Q&A and more.

  • Architect a Platform: You’ll guide the transition of our core features into a scalable, agentic platform that the rest of our product and engineering teams can build and integrate upon.

  • Scale the Organization: Harvey is growing fast. Help us scale our engineering organization across the globe by hiring and retaining world-class software engineering and AI talent.

  • Shape the Structure: You’ll work with other leaders to shape the organization, both in terms of skill set and geographic footprint.

What You Have
  • Product-Minded Engineering Leader: You have a track record of shipping best-in-class products (consumer or enterprise) that drive significant user and business value.

  • GenAI Expertise: You’ve built and scaled innovative features using Generative AI and understand the nuances of AI product development.

  • Scaling Teams & Organizations: You have 5+ years of experience leading larger organizations, including other managers and senior individual contributors, ideally across startups and larger enterprises.

  • High-Growth Veteran: You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments (startups/scale-ups) and know how to maintain technical excellence during rapid scaling.

  • Strategic Partner: You work effectively with senior leaders across Product, Design, and Research to define and execute complex company objectives.
