About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Director of Engineering Integrations who can architect, lead and implement technical integrations across the pharmacy ecosystem. This role is for someone who knows the inner workings of pharmacy systems - Pharmacy Management Systems (PMS), switch networks, and healthcare data standards - and can work directly with both internal teams and external partners to scale our platform with precision and speed.

This is a critical role that sits at the heart of our product execution, connecting HealNow’s core platform with the many systems used by pharmacies, health systems, and data partners across the United States. You will lead key technical conversations with partners, support enterprise client onboarding, and help ensure our integrations deliver seamless and secure data exchange that drives real-world clinical and operational outcomes.

If you’re a hands-on technical leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building scalable systems that make a difference in healthcare, this is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end technical implementation of integrations with external systems (e.g., PMS providers, SMS platforms, pharmacy tech systems).

  • Serve as the technical liaison with external engineering teams - including pharmacy partners, switch providers, SMS vendors, and enterprise clients.

  • Own technical documentation for internal use and customer-facing engineering and implementation teams.

  • Assist with maintaining and scaling Snowflake database and support creation of dashboards and reports.

  • Design and optimize data architecture and infrastructure to support scalable, HIPAA compliant healthcare data workflows.

  • Ensure consistency and parity across integrations to maintain platform wide stability and performance.

  • Manage field usage and data storage across integrations in partnership with Product and Implementation teams.

  • Stay ahead of integration changes across PMS vendors and ensure HealNow remains fully compatible and interoperable.

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve existing integrations to ensure reliability, uptime, and performance.

  • Translate complex integration logic into clear technical documentation for internal and external teams.

  • Partner closely with Product, Implementation, and Enterprise Client Engineering teams to align on requirements, timelines, and integration best practices.

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to enterprise clients during integration rollout and post-launch phases.

  • Stay current on trends in pharmacy technology and integration architecture.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Deep understanding of pharmacy data workflows and PMS integration architecture.

  • NYC or Remote US based.

  • 7+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years leading integrations or API-based architecture.

  • Prior experience working with Pharmacy PMS’s or healthcare Saas required.

  • Proficiency with Snowflake, APIs, webhooks, ETL pipelines, and system-level integrations.

  • Experience working with or within Pharmacy systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of translating tech for non-technical audiences.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards and privacy/security.

  • Experience working in fast-paced; high-growth startups or scaling tech environments.

  • High accountability, bias for action, and ability to operate with autonomy and clarity.

  • Bonus: Experience working with high-growth SaaS products in the healthtech or pharmacy tech space.

What We Offer

  • Salary band and bonus or commission (if applicable) are competitive

  • Comprehensive packages, including healthcare, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k)

  • Opportunities for career growth and development in an innovative and expanded opportunity

  • Collaborative and dynamic work environment

Pay range represents the anticipated high and low end of pay range for this position and may change in the future. The pay range is based on a range of factors, including but not limited to work experience, location and performance.
