About iVerify

We are Experts in Mobile Threat Hunting. The first mobile threat hunting company to protect mobile devices like any other vulnerable corporate endpoint.

The mobile security market has a problem. Simply put, current solutions fail to meet the sophistication of modern threats or the growing privacy desires of mobile device users. We believe that it is time for something new. Not only because we care deeply about the safety of frontline users like journalists and activists - many of whom are doing important and often dangerous work - but because enterprises and consumers deserve real protection from advanced mobile threats without sacrificing privacy.

We are building the first mobile threat hunting company to harmonize security and privacy in the face of a new class of mobile threats. Supported by some of the most well-respected VC firms, we aim to become the go-to mobile security solution for individuals who want to know they can trust their devices with their most sensitive information – without sacrificing privacy.

Director of Federal Sales (US Public Sector)

We are seeking a Director of Federal Sales based in Washington, DC, to spearhead iVerify’s expansion across the US Federal Government. This is a high-impact "player-coach" role designed for a technical expert who understands that in the Federal space, the best salesperson is a trusted advisor.

We are not looking for a "Beltway lobbyist" or a relationship-driven "glad-hander." We want a mission-oriented leader who can navigate complex agency architectures, translate sophisticated mobile security and forensic capabilities into mission outcomes, and consistently deliver on high-growth revenue targets. This role requires a blend of deep technical tradecraft and a disciplined approach to federal capture.

Location

While this position offers remote work flexibility for the foreseeable future, it requires a Washington, D.C. base of operations. The candidate must be available for immediate on-site customer engagements in DC.

Responsibilities
  • Direct Sales Execution: Own and drive the full federal sales lifecycle—from initial technical discovery to contract award—carrying a personal annual quota of $3M to $5M.

  • Strategic Capture & Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC), identifying key mission owners, program offices, and technical decision-makers.

  • Technical Advocacy: Act as a high-level subject matter expert in mobile OS internals and digital forensics. You will lead "deep-dive" technical briefings, shape RFI/RFP requirements, and navigate technical "bake-offs."

  • Ecosystem Leadership: Leverage existing relationships with Federal Systems Integrators (FSIs) and specialized VARs to accelerate market penetration and build a sustainable partner ecosystem.

  • Pipeline Governance: Manage a robust, multi-year pipeline with high accuracy, utilizing MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies to ensure predictable revenue growth.

  • Product Feedback Loop: Serve as the "Voice of the Mission" for iVerify’s engineering teams, ensuring federal-specific requirements (FedRAMP, FIPS, tactical edge deployment) are prioritized.

Requirements
  • 12+ Years in Cybersecurity: A career built on technical foundations—ideally in threat intelligence, mobile security, digital forensics, or SIGINT.

  • Public Sector Pedigree: Direct experience working within or selling to the DoD or National Security/Intelligence Community. A prior stint in government or at a defense contractor is highly desirable.

  • Proven Performance: A documented track record of meeting or exceeding a $3M+ individual quota in the federal cybersecurity market.

  • Acquisition Expertise: Deep fluency in federal procurement, including GSA MAS, NASA SEWP, OTAs, and specialized IC contract vehicles. You understand the federal budget cycle and how to align "colors of money" to technology needs.

  • Technical Fluency: Ability to engage as a peer with agency CISOs, CTOs, and technical operators. You should be comfortable discussing zero-click exploits, bootchain security, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).

  • Location: Must be based in the Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area for frequent in-person engagements at the Pentagon, Fort Meade, and other federal hubs.

  • Security Clearance: An active Top Secret/SCI clearance is strongly preferred.

The Ideal Profile

We are looking for the technical "hunter" who thrives at the intersection of tradecraft and commerce. If you are an expert in the mobile threat landscape, have a deep network within the US defense industrial base, and possess the grit to close multi-million dollar deals, we want you at iVerify.

Compensation

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and employment type. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

At iVerify, we are committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace and community. We believe that diversity in all its forms drives innovation and fosters creativity. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.
