WEKA is a growth-stage company backed by world-class venture capital investors and AI infrastructure industry leaders. Our team is customer-obsessed and works accountably, boldly, and collaboratively to ensure their success. If we sound like your kind of people, join us!

About The Role

We are looking for a visionary Director of Global Talent Acquisition to architect and execute our global hiring strategy. This isn't just about filling seats; it’s about building the engine that fuels our growth. You will oversee our entire recruiting ecosystem, ensuring we land world-class talent across Go-To-Market (GTM), GA, Product, and Engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with executive leadership to align talent acquisition goals with long-term business objectives.
  • Global Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale a multi-disciplinary recruiting organization across technical and non-technical tracks.
  • Operations & Excellence: Lean on your deep Recruiting Ops expertise to optimize our tech stack, streamline the candidate journey, and improve recruiter productivity.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use advanced analytics to track funnel health, predict hiring trends, and report performance metrics to the board and C-suite.
  • Cross-Functional Impact: Spearhead global initiatives ranging from Employer Branding and Diversity & Inclusion to structured interviewing and workforce planning.
  • AI Adoption & Innovation:  Identify where AI can act as a "force multiplier” to drive the adoption of AI use cases in the talent acquisition team.
  • Lead by Example: Maintain your edge by personally owning at least one active req at all times. Whether it’s a niche VP role or a critical technical lead, you stay close to the candidate experience and the hiring manager's reality.

Qualifications

  • 12+ Years in Talent Acquisition: A proven track record in both Technical (Product/Eng) and Non-Technical (Sales/GTM) recruiting at scale.
  • Leadership Depth: At least 5 years of experience managing people, leaders, and large distributed teams.
  • Operational Mindset: You’ve either sat in a Recruiting Ops seat or managed the function; you understand the "plumbing" of talent acquisition (ATS, CRM, capacity modeling).
  • Executive Presence: You are comfortable challenging and advising executive stakeholders, acting as a true talent consultant rather than an order-taker.
  • Project Mastery: Proven success leading complex, cross-functional projects that require buy-in from Finance, Legal, and Department Heads.
  • Requirement: Presence in the Campbell office is required a minimum of 3 days per week.

How We Work: The WEKA Way

  • We are Accountable: We take full ownership, always–even when things don’t go as planned. We lead with integrity, show up with responsibility & ownership, and hold ourselves and each other to the highest standards.
  • We are Brave: We question the status quo, push boundaries, and take smart risks when needed. We welcome challenges and embrace debates as opportunities for growth, turning courage into fuel for innovation.
  • We are Collaborative: True collaboration isn’t only about working together. It’s about lifting one another up to succeed collectively. We are team-oriented and we communicate with empathy and respect. We challenge each other and conduct positive conflict resolution. We are being transparent about our goals and the results we achieve. Together, we’re unstoppable.
  • We are Customer Centric: Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We actively listen and prioritize the success of our customers, and every decision we make is driven by how we can better serve, support, and empower them to succeed. When our customers win, we win.

USA Residents Only: The salary hiring range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $220,000 - $320,000. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Flexible Time off (FTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws.

WEKA is committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace.
