Who We Are

We’re building the future of real estate — today.

HomeLight is the real estate technology platform powering innovative transactions for top agents, lenders, and their clients. Our technology makes it easier to buy and sell homes, whether that's enabling clients to buy before they sell, find a top agent, or have certainty through a modern closing process. Each year, HomeLight facilitates billions of dollars of residential real estate business on its platform for thousands of agents and loan officers. Our vision is a world where every real estate transaction is simple, certain, and satisfying for all.

Our team breaks barriers every day while staying committed to HomeLight's goals and core values, which is a crucial element to our shared success.

Who You Are

You're a hands-on performance marketer who has personally built and managed paid search and Meta campaigns at scale - not directed others to do it. You know what a well-structured Google Ads account looks like because you've built one. You know what a broken Meta attribution setup looks like because you've fixed one.

You're also genuinely excited about what AI tools are doing to this job right now. You've used them to move faster, test more, and do work that used to take a week in a day. That's not a line on your resume - it's actually how you work.

This is a lean team. You'll drive impact directly, with ownership of HomeLight's paid channels.

What You’ll Do

You'll own paid search and paid social for HomeLight - two channels that matter a lot to the business. That means running the campaigns yourself, being accountable for the numbers, and working closely with our data and product teams to ensure we're measuring correctly.

Day to day, that looks like: building and optimizing Google Ads campaigns (search, Performance Max, remarketing), managing Meta across Facebook and Instagram, running a real testing program with creative and audience experiments, and staying on top of CAC and ROAS with enough fluency to explain what's moving and why.

You'll also be the person who brings AI into the workflow in practical ways. We're not looking for someone who plans to figure that out eventually - we want someone already doing it.

One thing worth saying upfront

This role is hands-on. You'll own these channels and are expected to run them well. This isn't a role where you'll manage a large team, oversee a roster of agencies, or spend most of your time in strategy decks. If you’re excited about building things, ownership, and driving results, this role is a great fit. If you're looking to move further away from day-to-day execution, it's probably not the right match.

What We’re Looking For
  • 8-plus years of hands-on paid search and paid social experience, with meaningful time in-house
  • Deep command of Google Ads: campaign architecture, Smart Bidding, Performance Max, Search Ads 360, and audience layering
  • Proven Meta Ads execution: Advantage+ campaigns, custom and lookalike audiences, creative testing at scale, and Conversions API setup
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in a marketing workflow - not just awareness of them
  • Strong SQL and analytics skills - you pull your own data and build your own reports
  • Experience with attribution in a high-consideration, long-cycle product (real estate a plus; mortgage, insurance, or fintech also relevant)
  • Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, GA4, and ad platform tracking - you've set up conversion events and debugged tracking issues yourself
  • Clear communicator with senior stakeholders - you can explain performance without overstating it

Benefits and Perks

  • Medical (Aetna or Kaiser), Dental & Vision (Guardian)
  • Long-Term Disability & Short-Term Disability
  • Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Accident Plan, and Employee Critical Illness (Guardian)
  • 401k (Vestwell), Life Insurance (Guardian) & Pet Insurance (Nationwide)
  • Commuter benefits are offered in certain locations
  • PTO, including Volunteer Days to give back to your community
  • Annual Anniversary Perks, including one month paid sabbaticals!
  • HomeLight Services to help you with buying and selling your home
