The mark of true success at Wave is the ability to be bold, learn quickly and share your knowledge generously.

We’re looking for a Director of Growth Marketing who can turn our product-led motion into a revenue engine. This leader will own the growth marketing strategy and execution across the entire customer lifecycle — while ensuring the systems, data, and processes are in place to measure and scale impact. You’ll be accountable for building predictable, marketing-sourced and influenced revenue, aligning growth strategy with product adoption, and ensuring marketing operations delivers the precision and insights needed to fuel ARR growth.

Here's how you'll make an impact:

  •
  • Growth Marketing & Revenue Acceleration
  • Develop and own the growth marketing strategy to drive acquisition, activation, and expansion with clear revenue targets.
  • Lead multi-channel campaigns, optimizing for CAC, conversion, and product adoption.
  • Drive lifecycle marketing (email, in-app, nurture, advocacy) to increase adoption, reduce churn, and maximize LTV.
  • Partner with Product on in-app growth loops (onboarding flows, upsell paths, referrals) to improve activation and monetization.
  • Build, test, and scale growth experiments with a focus on speed, measurable outcomes, and repeatability to uncover new revenue levers.
  • Partner with Data and Product to define PLG metrics (PQLs, activation, expansion) and optimize funnel performance.
  • Lead, support & coach multi-disciplinary team accountable for the acquisition, activation & retention of customers.
  •
    Marketing Operations & Revenue Infrastructure
  • Own the marketing tech stack and data foundation to ensure accurate attribution, funnel visibility, and actionable insights.
  • Establish scalable campaign operations processes, including lead scoring, routing, tracking, and attribution.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that tie marketing efforts directly to conversion and revenue outcomes.
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting, budget allocation, and revenue modeling to maximize ROI.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and increase efficiency across the team.

You'll thrive here if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 7 years leading growth marketing with revenue accountability.
  • Proven success scaling demand and revenue in a product-led growth environment with deep understanding of PLG metrics: PQLs, activation, CAC/LTV, expansion, and NRR.
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g. Braze), analytics (Looker, GA), and experimentation tools.
  • Data-driven operator who can link campaigns to business outcomes and present insights with clarity to executives.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; proven ability to partner with Product, Finance, and Data.
  • Leadership experience: able to hire, coach, and inspire a team across growth and ops disciplines.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment with a bias for action and experimentation.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
