We are seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead and transform our technology infrastructure as we revolutionize how the world finds answers. As a key member of the leadership team, you will define our IT strategy while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical initiatives. This role demands both strategic vision and operational excellence - someone who can build scalable IT solutions, lead high-performing teams, and ensure our technology enables rapid innovation across the organization.

This role is based in-person at our San Francisco office.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute IT strategy that removes obstacles and rapidly equips teams with the tools and resources needed to achieve business goals.
  • Oversee major office buildouts and implement robust IT infrastructure for new site launches and expansions.
  • Lead IT roadmaps and overall management of hardware, software, tools and vendors.
  • Manage vendor relationships and conduct risk assessments for technology providers, SaaS, and AI tools.
  • Build, lead, and scale high-performing IT teams across local and remote offices.
  • Provide effective technical support and resolve complex IT issues quickly.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years at director or similar level.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in fast-growth technology or startup environments.
  • Significant experience leading remote teams and managing large office buildouts.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and business communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in macOS & GSuite environments

 The cash compensation range for this role is $200,000 - $240,000. 

 
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
 
Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity may be part of the total compensation package.
Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents. Includes a 401(k) plan.
