Compensation: $158,000.00 - $198,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Director to lead our Business Technology Services team in a fast-paced, global software environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our IT infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical depth, operational excellence, and leadership acumen to drive continuous improvement and support business growth. This position will report to our Vice President of Global Technical Operations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute IT strategy that align with business goals and global technology standards.
- Lead and mentor a distributed team of IT managers, engineers, and support staff across multiple regions.
- Lead technology planning initiatives, including infrastructure modernization and digital transformation.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape long-term infrastructure and service delivery roadmaps.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee the performance, availability, and resilience of IT systems, including networks, cloud platforms, on-premise systems, and end-user services.
- Implement and ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and ITIL-based service management practices.
- Drive automation and process optimization across incident, problem, and change management workflows.
- Lead the IT support function, ensuring a high standard of internal user experience.
Security & Risk Management
- Partner with Information Security to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity controls and disaster recovery plans.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Maintain compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, ISO271001).
Budget & Vendor Management
- Manage the Business Technology Services budget, including forecasting, cost optimization, and ROI analysis.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for infrastructure, software, and managed services.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor and lead a high-performing IT team.
- Define roles, responsibilities and development staff for IT staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, agility and customer-focus.
Required Education and Experience
- 10+ years in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing enterprise-scale infrastructure in a SaaS or software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), networking, endpoint management, and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing global operations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
- ITIL v4 Foundation (required); PMP, CISSP, or cloud certifications (preferred).
- Experience working with a SaaS business.

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment under strict deadlines.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position will be overseeing the Business Technology Services team.
Travel
- Some travel will be required with this position.
