Level: First-time or early-stage Director

Position Overview

We’re looking for a high-potential marketing leader ready to step into a Director-level role. We’re hiring a hands-on marketing leader to build and scale a demand engine that directly drives pipeline and revenue. This role will focus on building structure, improving execution, and driving measurable pipeline growth, while continuing to develop strategic leadership skills with support from executive leadership.

What This Role Is (and Is Not)

This role IS:

  • A builder role with clear ownership and accountability
  • Hands-on with campaigns, tools, and reporting
  • A growth opportunity into full marketing leadership

This role IS NOT:

  • A fully built-out strategic CMO position
  • A large team leadership role (initially lean team/vendor model)
  • Purely high-level strategy without execution

Key Responsibilities

Growth Marketing (Primary Focus)

  • Clarify and activate value positioning to drive demand and improve conversion
  • Own go-to-market execution aligned to revenue priorities and pipeline growth
  • Support sales and partnerships with campaigns, content, and tools that increase velocity
  • Build a repeatable growth engine through data, testing, and continuous optimization

Marketing Operations & Reporting

  • Manage core marketing platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Maintain campaign tracking, reporting dashboards, and lead flow processes
  • Provide consistent reporting on marketing performance and pipeline contribution
  • Improve data visibility and attribution over time

Content & Brand Execution

  • Coordinate development of marketing content, collateral, and messaging
  • Ensure consistency across campaigns, website, and sales materials
  • Track and manage all in-flight content and assets

Vendor & Project Management

  • Manage external vendors (agencies, freelancers, contractors)
  • Ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and aligned to goals
  • Maintain documentation of vendor relationships, scope, and performance

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner closely with Sales to ensure strong communication and feedback loops
  • Support leadership with insights on what’s working and where to improve
  • Participate in planning discussions and begin contributing to broader strategy

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of marketing experience (real estate, utility, and/or B2B preferred)
  • Strong background in demand generation, digital marketing, or campaign execution
  • Experience working in platforms like Insightly or HubSpot
  • Comfortable owning both strategy (at a developing level) and execution (at a strong level)
  • Experience managing vendors or small project teams
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and accountability
  • Eagerness to grow into a senior marketing leadership role

Key Success Metrics

  • Marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline
  • Measurable impact tied to revenue
  • On-time execution of campaigns and deliverables
  • Lead quality and Sales feedback
  • Improved reporting visibility and consistency

Why This Role is a Strong Growth Opportunity

  • Direct exposure to executive leadership and company strategy
  • Opportunity to build and shape the marketing function
  • Clear path to a more senior leadership role as the company grows
  • Ability to make a measurable impact on revenue

If you’re a hands-on marketer ready to step into a bigger leadership opportunity and help build something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and tell us why this role feels like the right next step in your career.
