The Director of Marketing AI Transformation will serve as the AI evangelist and change leader for Marketing, defining and championing a clear vision for how AI transforms marketing enablement, effectiveness and scale. They will foster a strong marketing AI-literate team, enabling adoption and measurable business impact.
The role blends vision, hands-on execution, experimentation, and change leadership—ensuring AI initiatives to move from pilots to scalable impact.

Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy and Leadership
Define and communicate a clear, outcome driven vision for how AI enables a modern, high performing Marketing organization.
Lead the Marketing AI roadmap and investment priorities, including quarterly planning and use case prioritization, working with the Marketing Operations team.
Identify where AI can most effectively drive efficiency, scale, revenue impact, and competitive advantage.
Stay current on AI capabilities, tools, and market trends relevant to enterprise marketing, applying them pragmatically.
Adoption, Enablement, and Change Management
Build AI literacy and confidence across Marketing through enablement programs, including training, playbooks, onboarding materials, office hours, and internal communities, that keep high value AI use cases visible and actionable.
Lead by example through hands-on experimentation and applied use of AI in real marketing workflows.
Partner with Marketing leadership to align AI initiatives to strategic priorities, share impact stories, and address resistance, misconceptions, or misuse of AI tools.
Governance and Cross Functional Collaboration
Oversee a Marketing AI Task Force.
Design and manage a formal intake, evaluation, and prioritization process for AI and AIagent use cases.
Own the governance framework for AI agents built by Marketing Operations.
Build, Experiment, and Scale
Lead go to market experimentation to test new AI driven workflows, use cases, and messaging strategies that accelerate monetization and revenue expansion.
Align teams to prototype, test, and validate new processes before scaling.
Operationalize insights from experimentation to inform campaigns, demand generation programs, and product marketing strategy.
Measurement and Continuous Improvement
Define and own success metrics for AI in Marketing.
Drive continuous improvement through testing, feedback loops, and performance analysis.
Act as a scout for emerging AI trends, whitespace opportunities, and competitive threats.

What will help you succeed

Minimum Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in Marketing, Marketing Operations, or Marketing Strategy roles within a B2B or enterprise environment

  • 3–5+ years in a leadership or cross-functional influence role driving strategic initiatives

Preferred Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading change management or transformation programs within Marketing

  • Working knowledge of applied AI in marketing contexts (e.g., generative AI, automation, personalization, predictive analytics)

  • Experience identifying, prioritizing, and implementing AI or automation use cases in marketing workflows

  • Familiarity with common AI-enabled marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, MAPs, analytics tools, content generation tools)

Compensation and Rewards

The targeted base pay range for this role is $166K to $210K. When determining your salary, we consider your skills, experience, education, work location and internal equity.
