About the Role:

The Director of Monetization is responsible for ensuring that WEKA’s pricing and monetization strategies are executed seamlessly across all routes to market — direct, channel, and strategic partnerships.

This leader will bring analytical depth, commercial acumen, and operational rigor to how WEKA structures, analyzes, and executes pricing decisions. Working closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Product and Strategy, the Director will enable data-driven decision-making, ensure consistency across the field and partners, and build tools that empower sellers to position and price effectively.

A critical part of this role is supporting partner and channel pricing alignment — ensuring frictionless execution, pricing transparency, and commercial integrity across the ecosystem. The Director will also provide the analytical foundation for complex and strategic deals, creating fact-based rationales and business cases that balance growth, profitability, and market competitiveness.

This is a highly cross-functional role that combines strategic insight with executional excellence — connecting monetization strategy, data, and field enablement into a single, scalable framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monetization Enablement & Analytics
    • Develop and manage pricing analytics to monitor discounting, deal velocity, and price realization across customer segments and channels.
    • Build dashboards and reporting frameworks that give leadership real-time visibility into monetization performance.
    • Analyze deal data to identify trends, opportunities, and pricing effectiveness improvements.
    • Deliver actionable insights to GTM, Finance, and Strategy teams to guide monetization evolution.
  • Deal Desk & Field Support
    • Partner closely with Sales leadership and the Deal Desk to evaluate strategic and complex opportunities.
    • Create data-driven pricing models and business cases to support deal decisions and executive approvals.
    • Develop and maintain tools for sellers — including sizers, ROI calculators, pricing configurators, and other frameworks that make pricing fast, clear, and consistent.
    • Drive field enablement initiatives that simplify pricing execution and strengthen commercial discipline.
  • Channel & Partner Pricing Alignment
    • Support the design and implementation of channel and partner pricing frameworks that ensure fairness, competitiveness, and ease of execution.
    • Monitor and analyze partner pricing performance, discount structures, and margin realization.
    • Identify and proactively resolve friction points across channel and direct motions.
    • Collaborate with Strategy, Finance, and Partner teams to align on pricing governance and escalation processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as the central coordination point across Strategy, GTM, Finance, and Sales to ensure pricing execution is consistent and data-informed.
    • Partner with Business Intelligence and Data teams to ensure pricing data is accurate, integrated, and actionable.
    • Support the creation of business cases and models for new pricing motions or strategic initiatives.
    • Foster a culture of monetization excellence through visibility, consistency, and analytical discipline

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in monetization, pricing strategy, commercial operations, or GTM analytics within enterprise or SaaS environments.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a deep understanding of pricing performance metrics.
  • Experience working closely with Sales and Channel organizations to support complex deal structures.
  • Proven success building tools and frameworks that simplify pricing execution and improve decision-making.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, including experience influencing senior executives.
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
  • MBA or advanced quantitative degree preferred.
