The Impact You'll Make

As Director of Operations, you will serve as a key operational leader responsible for managing and improving the company’s day-to-day operations during a period of rapid growth and increasing organizational complexity. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll work across teams to improve coordination, drive accountability, and ensure operational processes run effectively across the business.

This is a highly hands-on role focused on operational execution, process management, and cross-functional support. You’ll oversee critical operational functions spanning IT, Information Security, Customer Success, Technical Support, Marketing Operations, Facilities, and operational support related to legal and commercial processes.

You’ll lead and support a growing operations team while helping establish the structure, workflows, and communication processes needed for teams to operate efficiently in a fast-moving environment.

This is a high-visibility opportunity for an experienced operator who thrives in lean, high-growth environments and enjoys building scalable processes that directly impact company performance.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in San Francisco.

What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with executive leadership to improve operational execution, accountability and organizational scale

  • Oversee day-to-day business operations across multiple cross-functional areas including business operations, customer success, marketing, tech support, IT, InfoSec and facilities

  • Build and improve scalable operational processes, workflows, and accountability systems across the organization

  • Support operational coordination tied to contracts, legal processes, commercial operations, and cross-functional execution

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary global operations team, including managers and individual contributors

  • Drive organizational prioritization and improve operational efficiency in a lean, fast-moving environment

  • Partner with leadership to support aggressive company growth targets and evolving customer needs

  • Use data and operational insights to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve business performance

  • Help establish clear operational structure and communication processes that enable teams to execute effectively in a fast-paced environment

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of operations, business operations, revenue operations, or related operational leadership experience

  • Prior experience managing teams and developing people leaders (this is not a first-time manager role)

  • Strong operational leadership experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments

  • Experience supporting or owning operational processes related to RevOps, Sales Ops, commercial operations and commercial contract reviews

  • Proven ability to independently manage day-to-day operations while balancing strategic priorities

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities

  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building structure in evolving environments

  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and operational judgment

  • Experience leading operational improvements and scaling processes across teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in technology companies (preferably AI, AdTech, FinTech or data services), SaaS environments, or operationally complex businesses

  • Experience working in lean organizations with broad ownership and hands-on responsibilities

  • Exposure to customer operations, support, or service delivery processes

  • Experience supporting operational scale and process improvement across growing teams

Why SuperAnnotate

This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible operational leadership role at a company experiencing significant growth and momentum. You’ll work directly with executive leadership to help shape how the company scales operationally during a critical stage of growth.

You’ll have meaningful ownership, broad cross-functional exposure, and the opportunity to build systems and processes that directly influence company performance. As the business expands enterprise partnerships and continues scaling globally, this role will play a central part in enabling operational excellence across the organization.
