The Impact You'll Make

As Director of Operations, you will serve as a key operational leader responsible for managing and improving the company’s day-to-day operations during a period of rapid growth and increasing organizational complexity. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll work across teams to improve coordination, drive accountability, and ensure operational processes run effectively across the business.

This is a highly hands-on role focused on operational execution, process management, and cross-functional support. You'll oversee critical operational functions with a primary focus on Finance and legal/commercial operational support, alongside IT, InfoSec, and facilities. You'll also help grow the company's Sales Operations and RevOps capabilities (including CRM and sales enablement) over time. This role requires comfort with ambiguity and the ability to context-switch across functions.

You’ll lead and support a growing operations team while helping establish the structure, workflows, and communication processes needed for teams to operate efficiently in a fast-moving environment.

This is a high-visibility opportunity for an experienced operator who thrives in lean, high-growth environments and enjoys building scalable processes that directly impact company performance.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in San Francisco.

What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with executive leadership to improve operational execution, accountability and organizational scale.

  • Oversee day-to-day business operations across multiple cross-functional areas including finance and accounting, IT, InfoSec and facilities.

  • Build and improve scalable operational processes, workflows, and accountability systems across the organization.

  • Serve as a key operational point of contact for commercial contract review and escalation, partnering closely with executive leadership and outside counsel on legal/commercial processes.

  • Grow into ownership of core sales operations and RevOps systems, including CRM (HubSpot) and sales engagement tools, with support from leadership as you ramp up.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary global operations team, including managers and individual contributors.

  • Drive organizational prioritization and improve operational efficiency in a lean, fast-moving environment.

  • Partner with leadership to support aggressive company growth targets and evolving business needs.

  • Use data and operational insights to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve business performance.

  • Help establish clear operational structure and communication processes that enable teams to execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of operations, business operations, revenue operations, strategy & finance, or related operational leadership experience.

  • Prior experience managing teams and developing people leaders (this is not a first-time manager role).

  • Strong operational leadership experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments.

  • Working knowledge of finance fundamentals sufficient to directly manage and mentor finance staff, including comfort with financial modeling and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (able to independently build models from scratch, not just review them).

  • Experience supporting or reviewing commercial contracts, even partial exposure, and acting as a point of escalation between the business and outside counsel. Comfortable being the go-to backup when legal needs support.

  • Some exposure to RevOps, Sales Ops, or commercial operations processes, with the ability to grow into greater ownership of these areas over time.

  • Proven ability to independently manage day-to-day operations while balancing strategic priorities.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building structure in evolving environments.

  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and operational judgment.

  • Experience leading operational improvements and scaling processes across teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in technology companies (preferably AI, AdTech, FinTech or data services), SaaS environments, or operationally complex businesses

  • Experience working in lean organizations with broad ownership and hands-on responsibilities

  • Prior CRM/RevOps administration experience (e.g., HubSpot or similar platforms)

  • Experience supporting operational scale and process improvement across growing teams

Why SuperAnnotate
