The Impact You Will Make

As Director, Partner Content Strategy, you will lead and evolve Risepoint’s partner content strategy function from the ground up, lead a team of roughly 10 across the Partner Content and Brand teams, and define how partner content strategy connects with every channel team it depends on and serves — SEO, Paid Media, Lifecycle, Digital Experience, and Field Marketing — across an 80+ university partner portfolio.

How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life

What You Will Do

  • Lead and evolve Risepoint’s partner content strategy function, aligning the operating model, org structure, and workflows for the Partner Content and Brand teams with broader strategy, and partnering with channel teams to align partner content strategy across the portfolio.
  • Integrate evolving SEO, AEO/GEO, and AI search practices into all partner content plans, briefs, and templates. Partner with SEO leadership to co-lead AI search imperatives, testing, and future partner content strategies, ensuring partner content is built to be discovered and cited by both traditional search engines and AI agents.
  • Set quarterly partner content priorities based on partner needs, SEO/AEO insights and imperatives, funnel performance, and the broader marketing roadmap, and own a strategic mix of partner content across formats — program and degree partner content, articles, brand storytelling, guides, FAQs, and more.
  • Help evolve new partner content operating models (intake processes, briefing systems, editorial calendars, and prioritization frameworks) that let a lean team scale high-quality, AI-assisted partner content production across an 80+ partner portfolio. Own governance for partner content refresh, archiving, and quality standards.
  • Lead, grow, and develop the Partner Content and Brand teams (~10 people, including two people-manager direct reports).
  • Own adoption of AI-enabled partner content tools, increasing output and speed without sacrificing quality or brand voice.
  • Evolve and own the recurring forums, rituals, and governance (planning cycles, cross-team reviews, shared roadmaps) that keep partner content strategy continuously aligned with SEO, Paid Media, Lifecycle, Digital Experience, and Field Marketing as those channels evolve.
  • Partner with Analytics to define and implement measurement frameworks to track and optimize partner content performance across search visibility, AI citation/visibility, and enrollment funnel impact.

What Success Looks Like

  • A fully operational partner content strategy function with clear roles, workflows, and regular check-ins across every channel team.
  • Partner Content consistently discovered and cited by both traditional search engines and AI agents, with SEO, AEO/GEO, and AI search practices built into every partner content plan, brief, and template.
  • Partner Content strategy staying aligned with SEO, Paid Media, Lifecycle, Digital Experience, and Field Marketing as those channels evolve.

How Impact Will be Measured

  • Partner Content and Brand teams staffed correctly, structured, and operating against a clear content strategy operating model.
  • Regular optimizations set up with SEO, Paid Media, Lifecycle, Digital Experience, and Field Marketing to keep everyone connected.
  • AI-assisted partner content production workflows implemented and adopted across the team, with clear ownership for ongoing improvement.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Experience That Matters Most

  • 8+ years in content strategy, SEO/AEO-driven content leadership, or digital marketing.
  • 4+ years managing people managers and cross-functional content teams.
  • Experience operating within a large, multi-stakeholder or multi-brand organization.
  • Advanced SEO/AEO/GEO expertise and experience adopting AI content production tools.

Experience That’s Great to Have

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience building or scaling a content operations function from scratch.
  • Background in higher education, EdTech, or multi-brand marketing.
  • Familiarity with CMP, DAM, or AI content tooling at scale.
