Overview

TripleLift is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of People Operations and Total Rewards to support the delivery of a seamless employee experience for our global workforce. You will lead the People Operations and Office Operations team, partner on culture, and own the systems, data, and processes that make our People programs work around the world. This role will ideally be based in our New York City office, with an expectation of working onsite three days per week. London may also be considered.

ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and Change
  • Set clear roles, expectations, and growth paths; coach consistently and act when expectations are not met.
  • Lead change management for People programs, with clear communication and strong adoption.
  • Partner with People Business Partners and leaders to scale services, and equip managers with tools to navigate People programs independently.
Payroll Partnership

Finance owns payroll processing, tax, and payments. This role owns People inputs and output validation.

  • Ensure accurate, timely People inputs to payroll across all countries: hires, terminations, pay and title changes, variable comp, leave, and location changes.
  • Validate outputs with Finance each cycle, review exceptions, and reconcile payroll to HRIS data.
  • Set cut-off calendars, hand-off checklists, and error metrics with Finance, and fix root causes.
Compensation and Total Rewards
  • Partner with Finance and HRBPs to design and run global compensation programs, including pay bands, merit, promotion, and variable comp cycles, aligned to budget and our compensation philosophy. Finance executes payouts.
  • Oversee benchmarking by geography and proactive pay equity analyses.
  • Support total rewards forecasting and workforce planning with Finance and the CPO.
Benefits
  • Own global benefits strategy, vendors, budget, and administration of localized programs.
  • Serve as the benefits subject matter expert for plan design, compliance, and renewals.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex benefits issues as well as leave administration.
Immigration and Mobility
  • Support global immigration strategy and execution with legal counsel and Talent Acquisition.
  • Monitor policy changes and advise the CPO on business impact and risk.
HR Systems, Data Integrity and Automation
  • Own data integrity across all HR systems, from role creation to offboarding: data standards, field ownership, validation rules, recurring audits, and discrepancy resolution across HRIS, payroll, benefits, and engagement platforms.
  • Lead HRIS strategy and the People systems roadmap as the source of truth for all countries, with multi-country configuration and audit readiness.
  • Implement automation and AI-enabled tools that cut manual work and speed service, with human oversight and Legal and Security review.
  • Deliver people analytics on headcount, attrition, engagement, and pay equity to guide decisions.
  • Govern contractor processes for global compliance, and run the People help desk and regional policy upkeep with Legal review.
Office Operations
  • Lead global office operations, including workplace management, regional strategy, health and safety, and vendors.
  • Set office policies and space plans that support our culture and hybrid model, and deliver workplace experience programs and budget with a consistent experience worldwide.
Education & Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in People Operations, Culture, or Total Rewards, with proven experience leading teams.
  • Experience supporting a global workforce, with strong working knowledge of U.S. benefits and employment practices as well as international practices.
  • Experience partnering with Finance on payroll inputs and validation.
  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., BambooHR, CultureAmp, ADP, or similar), owning data integrity and governance.
  • Experience running global engagement surveys and turning results into action.
  • AI fluency and a willingness to adapt to automation, with a record of adopting new tools and redesigning workflows.
  • Experience leading, or managing teams that lead, workplace operations.
  • Strong project management and process design skills, and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach.
