Director of Product Design (SaaS)
Location: Global (Remote)
Reports to: CEO
Employment Type: Full-time

Mission at Rwazi

Rwazi’s AI-powered Customer SaaS Platform equips enterprise brands with decision-grade, zero-party consumer intelligence.

The Director of Product Design owns the design system, user psychology architecture, and product experience across the enterprise platform.

This is a senior individual contributor role. It is not a people-management layer.

The Director of Product Design is expected to be deeply hands-on — designing core workflows, dashboards, data visualizations, and habit-forming product mechanics that drive enterprise adoption, stickiness, and expansion.

This role defines how Rwazi feels, flows, and grows inside enterprise accounts.

Core Mandate

The Director of Product Design is accountable for:

  • Designing an enterprise-grade SaaS experience that drives repeat usage

  • Embedding viral and expansion mechanics within a B2B platform

  • Aligning UX with revenue metrics (account expansion, frequency, referrals)

  • Building and maintaining a scalable design system

  • Elevating design as a strategic growth lever

This role directly impacts product adoption and account value growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise User Psychology & Virality Architecture
  • Design habit-forming workflows that increase session frequency

  • Embed internal sharing, collaboration, and referral triggers

  • Align feature UX with enterprise buying cycles and expansion logic

  • Convert satisfied users into internal advocates across departments

Design System Ownership
  • Define and maintain scalable UX and visual systems

  • Establish global UX patterns suitable for enterprise audiences

  • Ensure consistency across dashboards, analytics, and workflow modules

  • Continuously refine usability as platform complexity grows

Product Growth Alignment
  • Design interfaces that encourage deeper data exploration

  • Optimize dashboards and alerts to increase recurring engagement

  • Align UX decisions with measurable product metrics

  • Partner with Product and Sales to align design with revenue goals

Implementation & Iteration
  • Own the full design lifecycle from concept to post-launch optimization

  • Prototype rapidly and test with real users

  • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure high-fidelity execution

  • Use analytics, A/B testing, and feedback loops to refine continuously

Cross-Functional Influence
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success

  • Present design strategy and outcomes to executive leadership

  • Translate complex data functionality into intuitive experiences

Role Impact

Strong performance in this role results in:

  • Increased usage frequency per enterprise account

  • Higher multi-department adoption

  • Improved retention and expansion rates

  • Clear, intuitive enterprise dashboards

  • Stronger product-led growth signals

This role determines whether Rwazi becomes a tool or a habit.

What This Role Is Not
  • This is not a surface-level UI design role

  • This is not brand or marketing design

  • This is not passive design support

  • This is not detached from commercial outcomes

This role requires strategic product thinking and execution depth.

Qualifications and Profile

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:

  • 5+ years in SaaS product design, with enterprise exposure

  • Demonstrated ability to design sticky, referral-driven B2B products

  • Strong experience designing dashboards and data visualizations

  • Deep understanding of enterprise adoption psychology

  • Exceptional proficiency in Figma and scalable design systems

  • Analytical fluency with A/B testing and usage metrics

  • Ability to operate as a high-output individual contributor

Candidates may come from high-growth B2B SaaS platforms where product experience directly influenced retention and expansion.

Cultural Fit

We value designers who:

  • Think in systems, not screens

  • Tie design decisions to measurable impact

  • Prefer ownership over oversight

  • Move quickly and iterate decisively

  • Are comfortable operating at executive visibility

This role is best suited for designers who want to architect the core experience of a scaling AI-native SaaS platform.

How Candidates Are Evaluated

Candidates are evaluated based on:

  • Their ability to design intuitive enterprise workflows

  • Evidence of driving adoption or expansion through product design

  • Strength of portfolio (especially dashboards, SaaS systems, growth mechanics)

  • Their ability to balance user psychology with technical feasibility

  • Their ability to think strategically while executing tactically

We prioritize demonstrated product impact and design rigor over titles alone.

Summary

The Director of Product Design defines how Rwazi’s enterprise SaaS platform is experienced, adopted, and expanded within client organizations.

This role is central to transforming technical intelligence into habit-forming, growth-driving product experiences.
