Summary:

Automotive OEMs, national sales companies and their dealers depend on our market data to gauge their success and benchmark against competitors.  Our automotive industry performance solutions allow clients to understand selling patterns, identify key trends, find hidden opportunities, and boost revenue for new and used car sales and services.

We are seeking a professional with experience in developing solutions for the automotive industry specifically in incentives, pricing, and scenario planning. The candidate should be an energetic and forward-thinking leader that can identify key business problems and develop innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations. A strong customer presence, collaborative skills and the ability to develop a product road map is a must. Ideal candidate will be able to assess customer needs, develop a strategic product roadmap and work cross functionally to drive action plans to implement the vision into industry leading solutions.  This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry leaders to innovate the way automotive OEMs use market performance information to drive sales strategies.

Role Summary

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle — defining strategy, outcomes, and roadmap; validating with customers; and partnering across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to bring product to market and scale. Near-term focus includes landing early wins and aligning deliverables to roadmap milestones targeting readiness in early 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the multi-quarter roadmap, including MVP scope and post-MVP enhancements.

  • Translate business goals into measurable product outcomes and prioritize features accordingly.

  • Lead Voice of Customer (VoC) activities with target personas to validate use cases and value propositions.

  • Own Opportunity Canvas, user stories, success metrics, and acceptance criteria; collaborate with Data Science and Product Development.

  • Coordinate cross-functional handoff checklist covering product definition, pricing, codes, and training sessions.

  • Establish KPIs for adoption, win rates, ACV, model accuracy, and customer outcomes; iterate roadmap based on evidence.

Deliverables (First 6–12 Months)

  • Validated value proposition and MVP definition aligned to incentives personas and priority OEMs.

  • Executable GTM strategy and enablement sessions for Sales and Customer Success.

  • Measurable set of pilot engagements with clear hypotheses (e.g., same spend, more volume; minimum spend to hit target).

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree in business, economics, marketing or related quantitative field or equivalent relevant industry experience.

  • 7–12+ years in product management, analytics, or pricing/incentives strategy, preferably in automotive or mobility.

  • Experience implementing AI technologies into the product space.

  • Experience setting requirements for highly complex Data Science, Analytics, Scenario Planning and work with Gamification of mathematical model output.

  • Experience building data products combining predictive modeling with scenario planning.

  • Proven ability to own end-to-end product delivery and communicate complex analytics to senior stakeholders.

  • Strong skills in roadmap planning, requirements definition, and stakeholder alignment.

  • Direct exposure to incentive planning, OEM sales operations, or financial planning roles.

  • Experience with pricing, sales and share analytics, or similar tools in automotive domain.

  • History of successful executive-level presentations at OEMs and internal leadership forums.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.  This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
