About the team

We're looking for a Director of Product Management to build the pricing engine that powers Turo’s next chapter of growth. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll build and grow a team of PMs, collaborate deeply with cross-functional partners, and directly influence how millions of transactions are priced across our platform. Your job will be to take pricing at Turo to the next level: increasing the sophistication of our algorithms, improving growth and profitability across markets, and building the product infrastructure that enables continued scale.

What you will do
  • Craft and own a holistic marketplace pricing strategy that balances competitive guest pricing, host earning potential, and platform economics.

  • Own the multi-year product roadmap for pricing and collaborate with engineering, design, and data to build features that compound platform growth while keeping supply and demand in healthy balance.

  • Partner with the data organization to drive development of pricing algorithms that respond to real-time supply and demand signals, seasonality, and risk characteristics.

  • Build and evolve host-facing pricing tools, empowering hosts to optimize their earnings while contributing to healthy marketplace supply.

  • Lead a team of PMs, fostering a culture of ownership, product craft, and impact focus.

  • Serve as the organizational authority on pricing, synthesizing market research, competitive intelligence, and internal data to inform strategy.

Your profile
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years managing a team of PMs.

  • Experience in rideshare, travel, hospitality, or other marketplace businesses building pricing products at scale.

  • Strong quantitative background — you're comfortable diving into data, interpreting A/B test results, and working closely with data partners.

  • Proven ability to develop and communicate a compelling product vision, and to execute it through ambiguity.

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; you've worked at the intersection of product, engineering, and data.

  • Strong people leadership — you invest in your team, give direct feedback, and build a culture of high ownership and craft.

  • Clear, concise communicator who can distill complex pricing concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Bonus if you have
  • Background in economics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.

  • Familiarity with ML-based pricing models.
