We’re looking for a Director of Product Management to head our Product Management team and drive product strategy and execution across our portfolio.

You’ll manage a remote-first, distributed team of six Senior and Staff PMs across core product areas and shared platform capabilities, working closely with Engineering, Design, Data & Insights, Product Operations, and GTM. This role drives the team to shape product strategy and translate it into ambitious but realistic roadmaps, with clear trade-offs that drive measurable outcomes and high-confidence implementation.

The VP of Product sets company-level product vision and strategic intent. This Director role owns product strategy development across the portfolio and ensures that intent is realised through disciplined planning, strong PM craft, and effective cross-functional delivery. The role sets clear decision frameworks while empowering PMs to own problem definition, solution shape, and day-to-day trade-offs. Portfolio decisions explicitly balance customer value, commercial impact, and engineering investment.

Here's how you'll make a difference:

  • Head the development of product strategy across the portfolio, and translate it into aligned quarterly roadmaps, OKRs, and execution plans.

  • Plan and sequence work in close partnership with Engineering managers, balancing customer impact, feasibility, and long-term platform health.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, empowered team of Product Managers.

  • Elevate and codify PM craft across discovery, delivery, and outcomes, with clear standards for problem framing, success metrics, and post-launch learning.

  • Shorten experimentation cycles through better problem framing and scope discipline, enabling faster learning without increasing delivery risk.

  • Partner closely with GTM to prioritise and deliver product capabilities that drive revenue, retention, and competitive differentiation, with clear expectations on timing and trade-offs.

  • Work in close partnership with Design to ensure strong discovery, experience coherence, and high product quality.

  • Drive coherence and consistency across historically siloed products.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Senior product leadership experience in B2B SaaS, with people management experience required.

  • Strong expertise in stakeholder collaboration, influence, and alignment.

  • Knowledge and experience in defining and evolving portfolio-level strategy, making explicit trade-offs under uncertainty.

  • Experience partnering with cross-functional executives in organisations undergoing growth and change.

  • Strong bias for action and a build-test-learn culture grounded in sound judgement.

  • Ambitious, outcome-oriented mindset with strategic clarity.

  • Comfort operating in regulated, privacy-centric enterprise environments.

What we offer*

  • Work/Life balance: Flexible hours, 33 vacation days

  • Wellbeing and financial support: Access to Open Up, corporate discounts

  • Connection & community: Virtual events, collaborative team activities, and opportunities for local meet-ups

  • And the list goes on: Tech equipment, referral bonuses, dog-friendly HQ

*Perks and benefits listed above are for full-time employees and may vary slightly by office location. These are just a sample — you'll learn more during the interview process.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
