Job Description

About Jump

Jump is the AI operating system for financial advisors, transforming meetings, emails, and documents into structured data, automated workflows, and compliance-ready outputs.

Founded in 2022, Jump delivers AI-powered capabilities that reduce busywork, uncover growth opportunities, and elevate the advisor-client relationship—while maintaining industry-leading compliance.

We’re building the intelligence layer that powers the modern advisory firm—helping advisors save time, grow faster, and deliver better outcomes for their clients.

About the Role

Jump’s core platform, the advisor meeting cycle and operating system, is the engine of everything we do. This Director of Product will own that engine: driving product strategy across the Meet product and Jump OS, leading a team of 4–6 PMs, and setting the standard for how product gets built and shipped at Jump.

This is a role for a seasoned product leader who has been the PM behind a category-defining core product, knows how to build and develop high-performing teams, and brings the commercial instinct to connect every product decision to real customer value and revenue outcomes. You will partner directly with engineering, design, and go-to-market leadership to define what comes next and make sure it gets delivered with excellence.

The scope is deliberately broad: we’re looking for a leader who can anchor the core while staying flexible enough to contribute to Jump’s emerging adjacent opportunities as the product org scales.

What You’ll Do
  • Own product strategy and roadmap for Meet and the operating system with flexibility to extend into adjacent product areas

  • Lead and develop a team of 4–6 PMs: hiring, onboarding, career development, and performance management

  • Partner with engineering and design leadership to drive roadmap execution, quality, and velocity

  • Set the bar for PM craft at Jump: frameworks, processes, documentation, and team norms that raise everyone’s output

  • Drive cross-functional alignment on roadmap, pricing and packaging, and integration points with Jump’s broader product surface

  • Represent the product perspective in executive and go-to-market conversations. Bring commercial clarity and customer insight into every strategic discussion

  • Hold the team accountable to outcomes, not just outputs: clear success metrics, honest PMF assessment, and proactive communication when things aren’t working

What We’re Looking For
  • 10–15+ years of PM experience, with at least 3–5 years managing PM teams

  • A track record of owning and scaling a core product surface, not just shipping features, but building something that became the center of gravity for a business

  • Strong people leadership: you develop PMs, build team culture, and hold a high bar without creating drama

  • Deep user empathy: you understand that products in financial services live or die on trust, and you design with that constraint at the center

  • Commercial instinct: you connect product decisions to revenue, know what real demand pull looks like, and don’t confuse polite feedback with validated signal

  • Comfort with ambiguity and scope: you write your own brief, define success criteria before asking for resources, and stay oriented when priorities shift

  • Strong cross-functional presence: you’re as credible in a sales debrief as you are in an eng sprint planning session

Nice to Have
  • Background in fintech, financial services, or advisor-facing products

  • Experience with AI-powered or data-intensive SaaS

  • Startup or high-growth environment experience

  • Prior experience building or scaling a PM org from the ground up

How We Work at Jump
  • We move fast and prioritize impact over perfection

  • We focus on real customer value, not just features

  • We operate with high ownership and low ego

  • We value clarity, direct communication, and strong execution

  • We’re building for scale

  • We show up hungry: we want to win, and we act like it every day

Compensation & Benefits
  • $220,000 – $250,000 (commensurate with experience)

  • Equity

  • Flexible PTO

  • $500 WFH Stipend

  • Medical: $0 premium health plan for your family

  • Ancillary Benefits: Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Indemnity, etc.

  • Tax Savings: 401k, HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Commuter, etc.

  • Laptop + $500 budget for workspace setup

  • Paid Parental Leave: 2–4 weeks non-birthing, 6–16 weeks birthing, depending on tenure

Why This Role Matters

Jump is at an inflection point. The core platform is proven: advisors trust it, firms are adopting it, and the product is becoming the operating system of modern advisory practice. The Director of Product will be the leader who takes that momentum and builds the engine behind Jump’s next chapter: a scaled, world-class product team and a platform that continues to set the standard for what AI can do for financial advisors.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Jump is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
