FMX is looking for a strategic, execution-minded Director of Product Marketing to lead our product marketing function and serve as the connective tissue across product, sales, and demand generation. This is a player-coach role: you'll set the vision for how FMX communicates value to the market while managing and developing a team of product marketing managers. You'll partner with leaders across the go-to-market organization to make sure positioning, launches, and enablement translate directly into pipeline and revenue.
Responsibilities:

As the Director of Product Marketing, you will:

  •  Own the strategic direction for product marketing, establishing positioning, messaging, and launch frameworks that align product, sales, and marketing around one go-to-market motion.
  •  Lead, coach, and grow a team of product marketing managers, building a function that scales alongside FMX's product roadmap and growth goals.
  • Serve as the primary connector between Product, Sales, and Demand Generation, ensuring GTM plans have clear ownership, timelines, and shared accountability across teams.
  • Lead market research into FMX’s target segments to define our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), perform Total Addressable Market (TAM) analysis, and provide targeting guidance for our GTM teams.
  • Set the standard for how FMX plans and executes go-to-market launches, from early positioning through post-launch adoption and retention.
  •  Direct ongoing competitive analysis and market research to sharpen FMX's differentiation and inform product and sales strategy at the leadership level.
  •  Ensure the sales organization has the messaging, collateral, and training needed to sell confidently, and measure enablement's impact on win rates and deal velocity.
  •  Represent product marketing in leadership conversations, translating market and competitive insight into clear, confident recommendations for the executive team.
  •  Define and report on KPIs that connect product marketing activity to pipeline, revenue, and retention outcomes.

  • A track record of moving quickly from strategy to execution and driving urgency across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience hiring, coaching, and developing product marketers into strong strategic partners.
  • Able to synthesize market, competitive, and product data into a clear point of view that shapes company strategy.
